Product Overview

This user manual provides instructions for operating the Anko Story Projector, a device designed for children's entertainment. It includes features for projecting stories, playing music, and acting as a nightlight.

Eye Protection Function: When the infrared sensor detects children close to the light source, the projection light will automatically turn off to protect children's eyes.

Story Projection Mode Operation

  1. Insert the story figure into the slot on the top of the story machine.
  2. Switch to Projection Mode (⑮).
  3. Insert a story slide into the side slot (②) in the correct direction.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the story to load. Once loading is complete, the story machine will start the story telling and image projection automatically. [Loading Spinner]
  5. Rotate the focus lens (③) to adjust the clarity of the image. Ensure there are no obstructions on the projection lens (⑥) and infrared sensor (⑤).

    Caution: Do not look directly into the lens light while the device is on.

  6. Press the Play/Pause Button (⑦) to start over or pause the story. Press the Next button (⑪) to skip the projection slide and audio.
  7. The machine will automatically move through all the image projection and audio.

Tips: For the best experience, please set the story projector at least 40cm away from a flat white surface, ensuring that it is facing perpendicular to the wall.

Charging Instructions

  1. Insert the provided USB charging cable into the charging port (⑬) and connect to a 5V/1A charger (not included).
  2. Plug the charger into the 220V power supply for charging.
  3. The red indicator light indicates the device is currently being charged.
  4. Once the indicator light turns green, the charging is completed, and the device is now ready for use.

Precautions for Lithium Battery Use

  1. Fire, Explosion, and Combustion Risks: Do not disassemble, squeeze, heat above 60°C (140°F), or burn the battery. Keep the battery away from heat sources like fire or heaters.
  2. Water Damage: Do not immerse the product in water to prevent internal protection circuit failure, malfunctions, and abnormal chemical reactions that can result in heat, smoke, deformation, or burning.
  3. Proper Disposal: Both the product and the battery should be recycled at a professional recycling center. Do not dispose of them in household trash.
  4. Transformer Safety: The transformer is not a toy and should be kept away from children. It should only be used with the provided equipment and not connected to more power sources than recommended.
  5. Charging Cable Inspection: Periodically check the charging cable for any damage to the power cord, plug, casing, or other components. If any damage is found, discard the cable.
  6. Charging Time Limit: Toys must be charged with the recommended transformer. Using an overloaded adapter may cause battery combustion or damage. Do not charge the product more than recommended charging time.
  7. Battery Charging: Fully charge the battery before using the product.
  8. Adult Supervision: Charging is only to be handled by an adult.

Automatic Story Play Mode

  1. Switch to the Automatic Story Play Mode (⑯).
  2. Insert the story figure without inserting the story slide.
  3. Press the Play Button (⑦), the story machine will start story telling from the collection.

No projection in this mode.

Nightlight Mode

  1. Power on the machine.
  2. Press the Nightlight Button (⑫) on top of the machine to turn the night light on.
  3. Press the Nightlight button again to turn off the night light.

Enter Sleep mode automatically after 10 minutes. Power on the machine again to restart.

Music Mode

  1. Power on the machine.
  2. Press the Music Button (⑨) on top of the machine to start playing music.
  3. Press the Music Button (⑨) to stop the music.
  4. Press the Next button (⑪) to change the music.

Enter Sleep mode automatically after 30 minutes. Power on the machine again to restart.

Troubleshooting

ProblemSolution
Story audio doesn't play after a story slide is inserted
  1. Ensure the story figure is inserted correctly.
  2. Remove the story slide and reinsert it into the slot, making sure it is inserted all the way into the slot and in the correct direction.
  3. Fully charge the projector and try it again.
  4. Contact customer service if the above steps do not help.
No projected image/The projected images are not clear
  1. Ensure the story projector is at least 40cm far away from a flat white surface.
  2. Rotate the focus lens (③) to adjust the clarity of the image.
  3. Ensure there are no obstructions on the projection lens (⑥) and infrared sensor (⑤).
  4. Contact customer service if the above steps do not help.
The story audio and images are not synchronized
  1. Remove story slide and reinsert into the slot to play again.
  2. Turn off the machine, then turn it on to reload and play the story again.
  3. Contact customer service if the above steps do not help.

Maintenance

  1. Gently wipe the outside of the machine with a soft dry cloth to keep the machine clean.
  2. Avoid direct sunlight and keep it away from any heat sources.
  3. Do not collide the machine with hard objects or try to disassemble it.
  4. Do not immerse the machine in water, and prevent it from getting damp.
