User Manual of App

This addendum provides instructions for the setup and use of the wireless product.

Models: EP3-WiFi16L, EP3-WiFi20L, EP3-WiFi20LBS

1. Precautions

• Applicable platforms: iOS, Android.
• The APP has been updated and supports the latest versions of Android & iOS operating systems.
• Wireless Safety: The unit supports WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption and no encryption. WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK is recommended. Please check the Service Website for detailed information.
• The smartphone's camera should be at least 5MP for proper QR code scanning.
• Due to connectivity traffic and interference, connection requests may time out. In such cases, re-run network configuration.
• Due to dynamic network connectivity, the process may time out. The Smart App and product may display conflicting settings. Reconnect to sync.

NOTE: Inventor is not responsible for any issues caused by Internet, Wireless Router, or other smart devices. Please contact your provider for assistance.

2. Download and Install APP

• Android Users: Scan QR Code A or go to Google Play, search for "Invmate II" app and download.
• iPhone Users: Scan QR Code B or go to the App Store, search for "Invmate II" app and download.

3. User Registration

Caution: Ensure your mobile device is connected to a wireless router with an active internet connection before proceeding with user registration and network configuration.

4. How to Configure Networks

Caution: Ignore all other network connections and connect only to the desired wireless network. Ensure your device's Wireless setting is enabled and automatically connects to its original wireless network.

4.1 Connecting with an Android device

1. Connect your mobile device to the desired wireless network. Ignore other networks that might interfere with the configuration process.
2. Press the Power button to turn off the dehumidifier, then press and hold the Ion button for 3 seconds to activate AP mode.
3. Press "+ Add Device".
4. Scan the QR Code attached to the unit.
5. Read the instructions above and press the "Home" button to return to your phone's desktop.
6. Select your wireless network (e.g., "My Home"), enter your wireless router password, and click OK.
7. Upon successful configuration, the device will appear on the list.

TIP: Take a picture of the QR code and save it on your phone.

4.2 Network configuration with an iOS device

1. Ensure your mobile device is connected to the desired wireless network. Ignore other wireless networks that might interfere with the configuration process.
2. Press the Power button to turn off the unit, then press and hold the Ion button for 3 seconds to activate AP mode.
3. Press "+ Add Device".
4. Scan the QR Code attached to the unit.
5. Return to the APP and click "Next".
6. Select your wireless network (e.g., "My Home"), enter your wireless router password, and click OK.
7. Upon correct configuration, the device will show on the list. If not, please check the user's manual for further information.

NOTE: If "please connect to xxx" appears on the screen, connect back to your wireless network manually and click OK.

5. How to Use APP

Ensure both your mobile device and dehumidifier are connected to the Internet before using the APP. To control the dehumidifier via the Internet, follow these steps:

1. Type your account information and password, then click "Sign In".
2. Select your device to control the dehumidifier via the Internet.

6. Function Introduction

The buttons, from left to right, are:

• Power: Press to turn the humidifier on/off.
• Smart dehumidification mode: Press the auto dehumidification icon to activate; press again to deactivate.
• Continuous Mode: Press the Continuous icon to activate; press again to deactivate.
• Fan mode: Press the fan icon to select low, medium, or high fan speed.
• Dryer mode: Press the Dryer icon to activate; press again to deactivate.
• Ion mode: Press the Ion icon to activate; press again to deactivate.
• Humidity control: The humidity range is 35%RH - 85%RH. Adjust the white pointer clockwise to increase humidity and counter-clockwise to decrease it. The yellow pointer indicates the current indoor humidity.

NOTE: When network configuration is finished, the APP will display success messages. Due to different internet environments, the device status may still show as "offline". If this occurs, turn the device off and on again. After a few minutes, perform a pull-refresh operation to ensure the device status becomes "online".
