App Setup
Download the free JARNEX app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Open the app, tap 'Sign Up,' and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your account.
Connect the cell phone to the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi network and ensure Location and Bluetooth are enabled.
Light Indicator:
- High Flashing Blue: The camera is connecting to network
- Low Flashing Blue: The camera is in connecting mode
- Light OFF: The camera is successfully connected

Add Device
Open the JARNEX app, log in, and select 'Add Device' from the menu by tapping the '+' icon located at the top-right corner of the screen.
Navigate to the top of the screen, allowing a few moments for the camera detection process. Once the lantern camera appears, select it and confirm that the indicator light continues blinking.
Ensure that the displayed WiFi network corresponds to your 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz network. Enter your WiFi password, then click "Next". Allow a few seconds for the process, and upon completion, the message 'Added successfully' will appear.

A: First, make sure notifications are enabled for the Jarnex App in your phone's system settings. To manage motion or sound detection alerts, open the Jarnex App and tap the alarm icons on the main Features screen to quickly toggle notifications. For more detailed control, tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and select Detection Alarm Settings. From there, you can easily customize your alert preferences.

A: You can choose to share a single camera or all cameras linked to your home. To share a specific camera, open the Jarnex App, go to the camera's detail page, tap the three-dot menu, and select the Share Device icon. To share all cameras in your home, go to Management at the bottom of the app, select Home Management, choose your home, then tap Add Member. You can also manage each member's access permissions from this section.

A: There are two ways to adjust the camera angle. For horizontal movement, open the Jarnex App and either swipe on the live view screen or use the Direction icon to pan the camera. For vertical adjustment (tilt), manually reposition the camera to achieve the optimal viewing angle.

A: The Jarnex App offers two Night Mode options: Smart Mode: The light turns on only when motion is detected at night. This is an energy-efficient, environmentally friendly option. D2D Mode (Dusk-to-Dawn): This recommended mode automatically turns the light on at dusk and off at dawn, or when it's dark and overcast. You can also manually control the light at any time through the Jarnex App.
