1. Product Introduction

The base has three main functions:

• Place the EX terminal on the base to get charged.
• Place the EX terminal on the base. Connect the USB type-B to a computer to extend the USB port functionality.

2.4 Instructions

The base supports three types of terminal configurations:

AXIUM EX8000 with shell

The device can be placed directly onto the base. Ensure the slot base is free of any bushings.

AXIUM EX8000 alone

1. Without the shell, a black bushing specific to the EX8000 must be used.
2. This bushing must be inserted into the base first.
3. After inserting the bushing, the EX terminal can be placed on the base.

AXIUM EX6000 alone

1. A grey bushing specific to the EX6000 must be used.
2. This bushing must be inserted into the base first.
3. After inserting the bushing, the EX terminal can be placed on the base.

3. Notes

• Prevent the terminal from sun exposure, high temperature, moisture, and other adverse conditions.
• Cut off the power before cleaning the device and wipe the main body with a dry cloth.
• When the following abnormal phenomena occur, stop running the device immediately, cut off the power supply, and report to the service provider as soon as possible:
  • 1) Harsh noise heard during operation.
  • 2) Impurities or water found in the machine.
  • 3) Unpleasant smell found during operation.

4. Delivery and Storage

Deliver the device in a normal manner, avoiding rain, snow, sun exposure, and mechanical impact. The product should be stored in the original box. The box should be placed at least 15cm away from the floor, and at least 50cm from the wall, heat source, cold source, window, or air inlet.

5. Power Adapter

The base can only be connected to the adapter provided with the AXIUM EX-SBASE-C.

WARNING: The power adapter provided is specially designed for Ingenico AXIUM EX-SBASE-C. Do not use any other power supply. The use of a power supply with apparently similar voltage/current characteristics may damage your terminal.

6. Standard Environment (WEEE, Batteries and packaging)

This product is labeled in accordance with European Directives 2012/19/EU concerning Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) and 2013/56/EC concerning Batteries and Accumulators. These provisions require producers and manufacturers to become liable for the take-back, treatment, and recycling of equipment and batteries upon their end of life.

7. Product Disposal and Compliance

A symbol depicting a crossed-out waste bin indicates that the product and its accessories are electrical and electronic equipment. Batteries must not be discarded with general waste but collected separately for recycling. Please contact your retailers for more detailed information about the compliance solution in place for disposing of your old product and used batteries.

Packaging waste must also be collected separately to ensure proper disposal and recycling. In this way, you can participate in the re-use and upgrading of Electrical and Electronic Equipment Waste, which can have a positive effect on the environment and human health.
