Control Your Home With Your Voice
All Shelly devices are compatible with Amazon Echo and Google Home. For step-by-step guides, visit Shelly Compatibility.
Shelly Application
Download the Shelly app from the App Store, Google Play, or AppGallery. Shelly Cloud provides the opportunity to control and adjust all Shelly devices from anywhere in the world with an internet connection and the mobile application installed on your smartphone or tablet.
Registration
Upon first launch of the Shelly Cloud mobile app, create an account to manage all your Shelly devices. If you forget your password, enter the email address used during registration to receive instructions for changing it. Ensure your email address is typed correctly during registration.
First Steps
After registering, create your first room (or rooms) to organize your Shelly devices. Shelly Cloud allows you to create scenes for automatic device activation or deactivation based on predefined hours or other parameters like temperature, humidity, or light (when using compatible sensors).
Shelly Cloud enables easy control and monitoring via mobile phone, tablet, or PC.
Device Inclusion
To add a new Shelly device, install it to the power grid following the device's installation instructions. Once powered on, Shelly will create its own WiFi Access Point (AP).
Step 1: Power On and AP Creation
After installation and power-on, Shelly creates its own WiFi Access Point (AP) with an SSID like shelly1-35FA58
. If you do not see this network, check the installation or reset the device. To reset, power the device off and on again. Within one minute of powering on, press the connected switch/button 5 consecutive times until the relay clicks. Shelly should then return to AP Mode.
Step 2: Connect to Shelly WiFi
Choose "Add Device" in the Shelly app. To add more devices later, use the app menu and select "Add Device". Enter the SSID and password for the WiFi network you want to connect Shelly to.
Step 3: iOS Inclusion
If using iOS, after connecting to the Shelly WiFi network (e.g., shelly1-35FA58
), minimize the app, go to Settings > WiFi, connect to the Shelly network, and then reopen the Shelly app.
Step 4: Android Inclusion
If using Android, your phone/tablet will automatically scan and include new Shelly devices on the WiFi network you are connected to.
Step 5: Discover Devices
Upon successful device inclusion to your WiFi network, a pop-up will confirm the inclusion. Approximately 30 seconds after discovery, a list of discovered devices will be displayed in the "Discovered Devices" room.
Step 6: Configure Device
In "Discovered Devices", choose the device you want to include in your account. Enter a name for the device, choose a room, and optionally add an icon or picture for easier recognition. Press "Save Device".
Step 7: Connect to Shelly Cloud
To enable remote control and monitoring via Shelly Cloud, press "YES" on the pop-up asking to connect to the Shelly Cloud service.
