Operation Notes Guidelines
The unit should be operated, stored, and transported on stable surfaces. For optimal efficiency, ensure windows and doors are closed and avoid placing the unit where the air outlet and inlet are blocked.
Drain Hose Notes
The unit includes a drain line connection that easily plugs in. The drain line can be directed into a drain or sink. For proper drainage, uncoil the hose before use. The end of the hose should not be placed higher than 15 feet. Always ensure the drain hose is not blocked before operation.
Transportation Notes
During transportation, secure the dehumidifier using elastic bands. If transported vertically, allow the unit to stand in a normal position for at least 30 minutes before use.
How it Works
The dehumidifier utilizes an integral humidistat to monitor the conditioned space. When conditions exceed the desired level, the air is energized, and the compressor pushes air across the evaporator coils. The coils, being cooler than the dew point, cause water vapor to condense into liquid. The cooled air is then reheated before being distributed into the room.
