Ensure door thickness is 1.49-1.88 inches. The door hole diameter should be 2-1/8 inches. Measure the backset size, which should be either 2-3/8 inches or 2-3/4 inches with the deadbolt.

Adjust the deadbolt to either 2-3/8 inches or 2-3/4 inches based on the door's backset size.

Fix the deadbolt using two deadbolt screws, ensuring the deadbolt is in the retracted status. Make sure the word "UP" on the deadbolt is facing upwards.

After pairing, check the signal: click "Gateway" > choose the connected gateway > "Nearby locks" > check if the signal is strong. Move the gateway closer to the lock if the signal is weak. Ensure the distance between the gateway and the smart lock is within 16 feet, and that the phone and the gateway are connected to the same WiFi (the gateway only works with 2.4 GHz WiFi). If a 5G Wi-Fi network is in use, a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network can be set up and added via a dual-band router.
Illustration: A series of screenshots from the TT Lock App demonstrating the gateway pairing process, including selecting a gateway, connecting to Wi-Fi, and confirming successful addition.
Access settings (upper right corner of the app) > Turn on "unlock by voice" > Set a code for unlocking by voice for each use.
