UVC34 Installation

• Put on a Flat Surface

You can put the UVC34 on the conference table.

• Mount on top of a display

Choose the following installation method when the thickness of the TV is between 5mm and 60mm.

Diagram Description: The UVC34 is attached to a mounting bracket. This bracket is then clamped onto the top edge of a TV screen. The device is secured to the TV using 3M Velcro strips applied to the back of the TV and the device. The diagram shows the device mounted on a TV that is standing on a base.

• Mount on the Wall

You can purchase a bracket to mount your endpoint on a wall.

Installation Steps:

  1. Mark drilling points on the wall (e.g., 48mm distance). Drill holes with a depth of 30mm and a diameter of 6mm. Insert expansion screws.
  2. Attach the wall bracket to the wall using the expansion screws. (Screw specification: T4x30)
  3. Attach the UVC34 unit to the mounted bracket using screws. (Screw specification: 1/4"-20 UNC)

• Mount onto a TV Stand or a Tripod

You need to purchase a TV stand or a tripod separately. The TV stand or a tripod should be able to bear the weight of at least 5kg.

Diagram Description: The UVC34 unit has a mounting plate attached underneath. This plate is then secured to the top of a TV stand or tripod using a screw (1/4"-20 UNC).

Hardware Interface Instructions

UVC34 Connection

Diagram Description: The UVC34 is connected to a PC using a USB cable. The USB cable connects from the UVC34's USB port to a USB port on the PC.

Ensure that UVC34 is the default device of your video conference software after connecting successfully, and you can enjoy its audio and video in the meeting.

LED Indicator Instructions

LED indicators on the UVC34:

LED StatusDescription
OffThe UVC34 is powered off.
Solid greenThe UVC34 is active.
Flashing greenThere is an incoming call.
Solid redThe UVC34 is muted.
Flashing redThe UVC34 is in recovery mode and the firmware has not been upgraded.
Solid orangeThe UVC34 is initializing or in sleep mode.
Flashing orangeThe UVC34 is upgrading firmware.

VCR20 Remote Control Instructions

Upgrade the Firmware

Use Yealink Room Connect/USB Connect software to upgrade the firmware after connecting to the PC.

Ask your Town Council about how to dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way. The cardboard box, plastic packaging and player components may be recycled in accordance with prevailing recycling regulations in your country.

Always adhere to prevailing regulations. Those who fail to do so may be fined or prosecuted in accordance with the law. The crossed-out garbage can that appears on the device means that when it has reached the end of its useful life, it should be taken to a special waste disposal centre and treated separately to general urban waste.

Troubleshooting

The unit cannot supply power to Yealink device. There is a bad connection with the plug.1. Clean the plug with a dry cloth.
2. Connect it to another wall outlet.
The usage environment is out of operating temperature range.1. Use in the operating temperature range.
The cable between the unit and the Yealink device is connected incorrectly.1. Connect the cable correctly.
You cannot connect the cable properly.1. You may have connected a wrong Yealink device.
2. Use the correct power supply.
Some dust, etc., may be in the port.1. Clean the port.
