Power Acoustik CPAA-70M RDS Firmware Update

Step 1: Download Firmware

Download the CPAA-70M RDS Firmware Update and save it to your computer. After downloading, ensure the compressed files are unzipped. Copy the unzipped files onto the root directory of a USB Flash Drive (64GB Max). Do not use this for any other model.

USB Contents Example:

• ISPBOOOT.BIN
• Update_mcu.bin

Step 2: Insert USB and Access Settings

Insert the USB stick into the unit. Select the 'Setting' button from the Home Screen.

Step 3: Navigate to System Upgrade

Select the 'General' tab at the bottom. Swipe up and press the '>' tab to the right of 'Serial & Version'.

Select 'System Upgrade'.

Step 4: Initiate Update

Select both 'MCU' and 'ARM' options, then press 'Update' to begin. The update process may take 60-90 seconds to complete.

Step 5: Update Complete

Once the update is finished, the screen will display 'Update completed!' with a progress bar showing 100%.
