Nice FLO Transmitter: Instructions and Warnings
This document provides essential information and warnings for the installation and use of the Nice FLO series transmitters.
Product Description
The Nice FLO transmitter is designed for controlling automation systems such as door openers, gate openers, roller shutters, and awnings. Any other use is considered improper and prohibited.
The FLO line includes two types of transmitters: 'Flo' with programmable codes and 'FloR' with rolling codes. Models are available with 1, 2, or 4 channels and require a specific receiver for operation. Certain models, FLO2R-M and FLO4R-M, are also compatible with Nice "MOM" and "MOMB" proximity readers.
FLO Line Models:
- EU and CH versions: FLO1, FLO2, FLO4, FLO2R-M, FLO4R-M, FLO1R-S, FLO2R-S, FLO4R-S, FLO1R-SC, FLO2R-SC, FLO4R-SC.
- USA (FCC Part 15) and Canadian (RSS210) versions: FLO1R-S/U, FLO2R-S/U, FLO4R-S/U, FLO1R-S/A, FLO2R-S/A, FLO4R-S/A.
Programming
Verify the transmitter's operation by pressing a key and observing the LED flash, indicating transmission.
- 'Flo' type transmitters: Program by setting the same On/Off combination on the DIP-switch (Fig. C) as present on the receiver.
- 'Flo-R' type transmitters: Programming methods vary based on the associated receiver. Consult the receiver's manual for detailed instructions, available at www.niceforyou.com.
Battery Replacement
Reduced transmitter range and LED brightness indicate a low battery. Replace the battery, ensuring correct polarity (Fig. A, B), to restore normal function.
Warning: Used batteries contain pollutants and must not be disposed of with household waste (Fig. D). Dispose of them according to local selective collection regulations.
Conformity Declaration
Nice S.p.a. declares that all products in the FLO line conform to the essential requirements of the R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC for their intended use. Products are Class 1.
FCC and IC Compliance: Devices with specific FCC and IC codes (e.g., FCC ID - PML433FRS, IC - 6140A-433FRS) comply with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and RSS-210 of Industry Canada. Operation is subject to two conditions: no harmful interference and acceptance of received interference. Unauthorized modifications may void the user's authority to operate the device.
