UD24 Tester User Manual

The UD24 Tester can be used as a USB tester or as a DC voltmeter. It is a high-end product created by the wisdom of the industry!

The UD24 is a 2.4-inch USB tester, DC5.5 Type-C digital voltmeter, ammeter, power bank voltage detector, supporting QC and PD fast charging, functioning as an electric meter for APP connectivity.

DC Meter Display: Shows Battery capacity/DC power detector readings like Vol:15.023V, Cur:00.999A, Pwr:15.007W, Res:12.434Ω, Ene:1006.0KWh, Cap:83657Ah. It also shows Price:006.00, Cost:000.63, Co2, and 000.1Kg. Timing:021:39:39.

DC Percentage Display: Shows Battery capacity/DC power detector readings like Vol:019.850V, Cur:003.630A, Pwr:072.050W, Res:00003.5Ω, Ene:0006.60KWh, Cap:0062.05Ah, with an 80% indicator. Timing:021:39:39, BAT-R:005.8mΩ.

Qualcomm QC3.0/2.0 Quick Charge Protocol Support

The UD24 Tester supports automatic detection of multiple quick charge protocols, including QC2.0 and QC3.0.

QC2.0 Quick Charge Reminder Display: Shows USB TRIGGER QC2.0, High Voltage!!!, D+:0.63V 005.085V, D-:0.36V 000.363A. Time: 021:38:49.

QC2.0 Quick Charge Trigger Test: Shows USB TRIGGER QC2.0 with voltage levels 5V, 9V, 12V, 20V. D+:0.63V 009.035, D-:0.36V 001.363. Time: 021:38:49.

QC3.0 Quick Charge Reminder Display: Shows USB TRIGGER QC3.0, High Voltage!!!, D+:0.65V 005.085V, D-:2.98V 000.363A. Time: 021:38:49.

QC3.0 Quick Charge Trigger Test: Shows USB TRIGGER QC3.0 with voltage levels -0.2V and +0.2V. D+:0.65V 008.225, D-:2.98V 001.283A. Time: 021:38:49.

USB Quick Charge Automatic Detection Reminder Display: Shows USB QUICK CHARGE, High Voltage!!!, Output Voltage:005.052V.

USB Quick Charging Protocol Automatically Test: Shows USB QUICK CHARGE with protocols APPLE BC1.2, BC2.0, BC3.0, and status OK/NG.

Five-Fold Intelligent Protection

The UD24 Tester offers five-fold intelligent protection for safe charging:

  • FCOP (Full Power Cut Off): Can be set by the user. When power is < 1W for 1 minute, it will cut off power.
  • TC (Timed Charging): Can be set for a time period of 01:00-24:00. When the set time is reached, it will automatically cut off power.
  • Overcurrent Protection: Range can be set from 0.0A-5.1A.
  • Over Voltage Protection: Range can be set from 01V-36V.
  • Low Voltage Protection: Range can be set from 00V-35V.

These parameters can be fully automated and unattended, running automatically and cutting off power in real-time to protect charging equipment.

Function Settings Display: The device interface shows settings for FCOP (<1W For 20M), TC (24:00), Over-C (>5.0A), Low-V (<05.0V), Over-V (<30.0V), and USB D+/D- Vol.

Key Button Operation

Setting FCOP (ON/OFF):

  1. Long press the "M" key. The "OFF" on the screen will flash.
  2. Click the "+" or "-" button to set FCOP to ON or OFF.
  3. Long press the "OK!" key again. The screen will display "OK!", indicating the setting is complete.

Setting Other Parameters:

  1. Press the operation to set other parameters. Wait a few seconds, and the screen will display "OK!", indicating completion.
  2. Alternatively, long press the "M" key. The numbers on the screen will flash, allowing free selection and setting of parameters.

360° Rotating Screen

The device features a 360° rotating screen, satisfying reading at any angle.

UD24 USB Tester Use Function

The UD24 can be used as a USB tester, displaying various parameters like Voltage, Current, Power, Resistance, Energy, and Capacity.

Support PD Fast Charge

The UD24 Tester supports PD (Power Delivery) fast charging. An illustration shows the tester connected between a power adapter and a smartphone displaying 72% charge.

UD24 Line Resistance Measurement Function

Support Android/Type-C Cable Resistance Detection:

To measure line resistance, first measure the battery's no-load voltage, then add an output load. The current battery internal resistance can then be read.

The internal resistance calculation formula is: (no-load voltage - loaded voltage) / current = battery internal resistance.

USB and Type-C Test Application Range

The UD24 Tester can connect and test various USB and Type-C interfaces and battery devices. It supports multi-port design, multi-use, and multi-play scenarios.

UD24 DC Voltmeter Use Function

The UD24 functions as a DC voltmeter, displaying parameters like Voltage, Current, Power, Resistance, Energy, and Capacity.

DC Meter Display: Shows Battery capacity/DC power detector readings: Vol:15.023V, Cur:00.999A, Pwr:15.007W, Res:12.434Ω, Ene:1006.0KWh, Cap:83657Ah. Also shows Price, Cost, Co2, Kg, and Timing.

DC Percentage Display: Shows Battery capacity/DC power detector readings: Vol:019.850V, Cur:003.630A, Pwr:072.050W, Res:00003.5Ω, Ene:0006.60KWh, Cap:0062.05Ah, with an 80% indicator. Timing:021:39:39, BAT-R:005.8mΩ.

Battery Power Percentage

The meter allows users to set battery type, full voltage, and discharge voltage. It calculates the percentage based on user-defined thresholds and changes the color of the percentage indicator accordingly.

Display Colors: More than 30% is green, less than 30% is yellow, and less than 10% is red.

When the display range is between 1% and 100%, the POWER red light on the panel lights up, and the relay output interface activates. When it exceeds the 1%~100% range, the red light turns off.

The device uses a low-level output to disconnect the current path, ensuring safety during charging and discharging. It helps prevent battery damage from overcharge and overdischarge and can be used for overvoltage and low voltage disconnect protection.

Battery Internal Resistance Detection Function

To detect battery internal resistance, first measure the battery's no-load voltage, then add an output load. The current battery internal resistance can then be read.

The internal resistance calculation formula is: (no-load voltage - loaded voltage) / current = battery internal resistance.

The UD24 Tester can connect and test various DC power supplies and equipment. It features a multi-portion design for multi-use and multiple play scenarios.

Mobile Application (APP) Connectivity

The UD24 Tester supports connectivity with mobile applications for enhanced functionality.

1) Apple Mobile APP:

Search for "E_test" in the application store to download and install. Open the software, click the Bluetooth icon, and select "DL24-BLE" to connect. This enables remote wireless control settings and measurement functions, allowing viewing of discharge status, voltage and current power curves, and data cleaning on the mobile phone.

2) Android Phone APP:

Scan the QR code on the back of the host to download the corresponding APP software or search for "E-test" on Google Play. After installation, open the software, click the Bluetooth icon, and select "DL24-BLE" for online use. No Bluetooth pairing is required; the app directly selects the device.

3) Computer Bluetooth Wireless Online APP:

Add the Bluetooth device (DL24-SPP) to the computer's serial port. Scan the QR code on the host to download and store the corresponding APP software. Open the software (no installation needed) and select the added Bluetooth serial port model for online use.

App Interface Description: Screenshots show the E-test app interface on mobile phones and computers, displaying voltage, current, and power curves. It supports Chinese and English language switching and mode switching (AC/DC/USB). Key parameters displayed include Voltage, Current, Power, Cumulative Capacity, Cumulative Electricity, USB D+/D- Vol, Internal Temperature, and Time Record.

Warm Tips: Please pay attention to connect in E-test app mode only. Do not connect in Bluetooth mode without the app, as password pairing is not required.
