Know Your Equipment

Description and Content

The ULV (ultra-low volume) electric nebuliser generates large volumes of air at low pressure. It produces a cold fog of small particles (10-80 microns) that disperse in the air and land on all surfaces without staining. It uses minimal product for disinfecting bacteria, fungi, and viruses. The device is cordless, powered by a long-lasting lithium battery, allowing the operator to move freely without being tethered to a power source.

Interchangeable Nozzles

Use of the Equipment's Battery

To check the battery charge level, press the red TEST button on the control panel. A red light indicates the battery needs full recharging. The equipment offers an autonomy of 100 to 120 minutes after a full battery charge.

Charging the Battery

1. Disconnect the battery from the equipment by unplugging the connector.
2. Remove the battery from the housing by pulling the top handle until it is outside the box.
3. Connect the battery to the charger and wait until it is 100% charged.
4. Place the battery back into the equipment box with the TEST panel facing outwards, and connect the battery cable to the equipment cable.

• FOGAIR+ must only be used for purposes described in this manual.
• Users must be properly trained and use appropriate protective equipment.
• Store the equipment properly for transport.
• Regularly check the equipment for breakages and its condition.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

The following PPE is recommended when using the Fogair+:

• Watertight safety goggles for eye protection.
• Self-filtering mask for activated carbon gases.
• Type 4 chemical protection suit.
• Butyl gloves.
• Chemical protection safety footwear.

Operating Instructions

Before use:

Calibrate the flow regulator located at the end of the hose. Turn the flow regulator until it is completely closed. Once closed, push the base of the regulator downwards and align it with the groove of the air output.

Operation:

• Never overfill the 8-litre/2.1-gallon tank capacity.
• Mix chemicals in a separate container before adding them to the tank.

During use:

• Do not place the FOGAIR directly on the floor to avoid contact with dust and dampness.
• When working in a confined area, do not leave the FOGAIR running for more than 30 minutes.
• The amount of liquid misted depends on the type of nozzle fitted.

Maintenance and Care

• Inspect the venturi tube of your FOGAIR+ after use for wear or damage. If signs of wear or damage are present, the droplet size may be incorrect and the tube will need replacement.
• Regularly examine all soft parts, such as hoses and gaskets, for wear. Replace any parts that are broken or damaged.
• Like any device for applying chemical products, it is essential to clean all equipment parts to prevent residue build-up that could affect performance.
• Regularly clean the filters located in the motor's lower cover.

Waste Management

Materials used in packaging are recyclable. Do not dispose of packaging in household waste; hand it in at official recycling collection points.

Guarantee Conditions

1. Warranty Period: TEINNOVA guarantees its products for 15 days against aesthetic defects or faults noticeable at first sight, and for 1 year against other manufacturing defects. The Buyer must report any defect as soon as it is discovered, within a maximum of 5 days from its appearance. Failure to do so may void the guarantee.

TEINNOVA will arrange for product collection and delivery to the factory or nearest official Technical Support Service for inspection. The applicability of the guarantee will be determined at this point. If the guarantee applies, TEINNOVA covers transport fees for collection and return. If the guarantee is excluded (Section 2), the Buyer covers transport fees.

TEINNOVA reserves the right to dismiss a guarantee claim if non-conformity is not evident and coverage is not expressly approved. If covered, TEINNOVA will replace the product or determine the necessary repair method.

All repair work under guarantee must be performed at TEINNOVA facilities or designated locations. The guarantee covers materials and labour for repairs or replacements of defective parts. The maximum guaranteed value is the product's sale price to the Buyer. Claims under guarantee do not permit withholding payment of invoices.

2. Guarantee Exclusions: The guarantee does not cover: unauthorized alterations or manipulations; indirect or consequential damage; damage from negligence, improper use, or non-compliance with instructions; intentional damage; faults from product adaptations or use of uncertified parts; fault detection costs; collection or replacement costs (unless non-conformity is proven within the limits of Section 1).
