Quick Start Guide

1. Hardware Installation

Follow these steps to physically connect your ZYXEL Armor G5 router.

Disconnect your modem or router from its power source.
Use the included power adapter to connect the ARMOR router to a power outlet.
Use an Ethernet cable to connect your computer to one of the ARMOR's LAN ports.
Use an Ethernet cable to connect your modem to the ARMOR's WAN port.
Reconnect your modem to its power outlet.

2. Setup Through Web Configurator

Configure your WiFi network using the web interface. The router's LED indicator should be blinking dark blue.

Wait until the ARMOR router's LED is blinking dark blue.
On your computer, open a web browser and navigate to http://Zyxelwifi.com or http://Zyxelwifi.net.
Follow the on-screen instructions to give your ARMOR router a name and configure its WiFi settings.

Optional: Setup Through App

Download the ZYXEL ARMOR app to install and manage your WiFi router. The app allows you to configure WiFi wireless settings and schedule Internet access for specific users.

The ARMOR app currently supports the following languages: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese.
