The non-incendive Mesa 4 Rugged Tablet™ from Juniper Systems, Inc. is Met Labs approved Non-Incendive Class I Division 2.
Conforms to UL Std. 121201 and UL Std.62368-1.
Certified to CSA Std. C22.2#213 and CSA Std. C22.2#62368-1.
The non-incendive Mesa 4 (model MS4W Series) may be used in hazardous locations where ignitable concentrations of flammable gases, vapors, or liquids are not part of the normal environment but can become so under unusual circumstances.

Using the Mesa 4 Rugged Tablet in a Hazardous Location
⚠️ The rules (warnings) that follow must be followed to maintain the Intertek Laboratory approved non-incendive standard and to prevent the possibility of serious injury.
WARNING – EXPLOSION HAZARD – In Hazardous Locations:
- Do not dock the Mesa 4.
- Do not change or charge batteries.
- Do not insert or remove cards.
- Do not connect or disconnect any device or cable.
- Protective covers for ports and batteries must always remain installed.
In hazardous locations, the battery door must be in place as indicated below.
