Product Overview

The V3 is a high-performance stereo audio power amplifier developed by Fosi Audio based on user needs. It features Texas Instruments' high-end TPA3255 digital amplifier chip, supporting up to 600W of output power (into 4Ω impedance speakers). The V3 comes with an innovative design featuring cooling vents on the top and bottom of the aluminum alloy chassis. The amplifier chip's heat sink is attached to the casing, turning the entire chassis into a heat dissipator. This significantly enhances heat dissipation performance, ensuring chip stability and safety, and providing solid support for continuous high-power output. The V3 also integrates numerous HiFi class capacitors, inductors, and resistors to ensure stable and pure high-fidelity audio output. Front Panel

The front panel features the Fosi Audio logo. To the left, there is a small circular indicator labeled "POWER" which serves as the [Power Indicator]. In the center, a large circular knob is present, functioning as the [Power Switch/Volume Control]. A small line on the knob indicates the current volume setting.

Rear Panel

The rear panel provides all input and output connections. From left to right:

• RCA Input: Two RCA jacks labeled "R" and "L" for connecting audio sources (LINE IN).
• Pre-Out: A port labeled "PRE OUT" for connecting to external devices like subwoofers or other amplifiers.
• Speaker Output: Four binding posts labeled "R" and "L" for connecting passive speakers ([Right Channel] and [Left Channel] Output). These support banana plugs or bare wires.
• DC Power Input: A port labeled "DC24-48V" for connecting the power adapter.

Additionally, the top edge of the rear panel displays certifications and the website address.

Quick Setup

Important: Do not plug in the power cord until all connections are complete.

1. Prepare your audio source device, V3 power amplifier, 24V-48V power adapter, passive speakers, speaker cables (with banana plugs or bare wires), and RCA audio cable.
2. Plug the RCA cable into the RCA input terminal of V3. Connect the red connector to the right channel and the white connector to the left channel. Connect the other end of the RCA cable to your audio source device.
3. Connect the speakers to the V3's speaker terminals using the speaker cables. Ensure the polarity is matched correctly: red is the positive pole, and black is the negative pole.
4. Plug the power adapter connector into the DC power input port of V3, and then plug the power cord into an AC outlet.
5. Turn the volume knob clockwise to switch on the V3. The red power indicator light will turn on. You can now play songs on your audio source device and enjoy music.

? Note: The pre-out terminal can be used to connect an active subwoofer, active speakers, or a second amplifier to expand or customize your audio system.

Troubleshooting

01. The system is set up, but there is no sound output.

• Check if the power is on. Verify that the power indicators on the V3 and the power adapter are lit.
• The volume may be too low. Turn the volume knob clockwise to increase the volume.
• Audio cables may be connected incorrectly. Please follow the setup instructions to reconnect the cables.
• The audio source device may not be playing music or may be muted. Check the audio source device settings.

02. The sound output is abnormal.

• Ensure correct polarity when connecting speaker cables to the binding posts. Red is positive, black is negative.
• Speaker cables may have poor contact. Try reconnecting or swapping the cables.
• RCA cables may have poor contact. Try reconnecting or swapping the cables.
• The V3 amplifier may be overloaded. Turn down the volume.

03. Cannot play when connecting a turntable.

• The turntable may not have a built-in phono preamplifier. Consult your turntable's user manual. An external preamplifier may be required between the turntable and the V3.
• The turntable's output mode might be incorrect. Typically, turntables have phono output and line output modes. Select the line output mode.

04. Why does a device connected to the pre-out continue playing after turning V3 off?

• The pre-out terminal is designed to bypass the amplifier's built-in power amplification stage. The V3's knob does not affect the pre-out's signal output or volume. You need to turn off or adjust the volume on the device connected to the pre-out.
