Getting Started: Charging
Ensure your robot is properly charged before its first use.
Charging Dock Placement: Position the charging dock against a wall on a level surface. Ensure there is at least 1.5 meters of clear space in front of the dock and 0.5 meters of clear space on each side. Connect the power adapter to the dock and a wall outlet.

Docking the Robot: Place the robot vacuum cleaner onto the charging contacts of the dock. The robot will automatically align and begin charging.

Battery Charging: The robot's indicator lights will show its charging status. Ensure the battery is fully charged before the first cleaning cycle.

Connecting to Wi-Fi and App
Enhance your cleaning experience by connecting your robot to the Philips HomeRun app.
Download the App: Download the Philips HomeRun app from your device's app store. Open the app.

Pairing the Robot: Follow the in-app instructions to pair your robot. This may involve scanning a QR code located on the robot itself.

Initiating Pairing: Press and hold the designated button on the robot for approximately 3 seconds to initiate the Wi-Fi pairing mode.

Wi-Fi Connection: Connect your mobile device to the robot's Wi-Fi network (e.g., "Philips robot_XXXX") and then follow the app's prompts to connect the robot to your home Wi-Fi network.

App Setup: Complete the setup process within the Philips HomeRun app, which may include naming your robot and configuring settings.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance of your Philips robot vacuum cleaner.
General Maintenance
Dustbin Cleaning:
- Remove the dustbin from the robot.
- Empty the collected debris.
- Rinse the dustbin with water.
- Allow the dustbin to air dry completely before reinserting.

Filter Cleaning:
- Remove the filter from the dustbin assembly.
- Tap the filter gently against a waste bin to remove dust.
- Do not wash the filter with water.
- Reinsert the clean, dry filter.

Main Brush Cleaning:
- Open the main brush cover.
- Remove the main brush.
- Use a cleaning tool or scissors to cut and remove tangled hair and debris.
- Reinsert the main brush and close the cover.

Side Brush Cleaning:
- Gently pull the side brush upwards to remove it.
- Clean any tangled hair or debris.
- Reattach the side brush securely.

Specific Model Maintenance (XV1430)

- Dustbin and Filter: Follow general maintenance steps for dustbin and filter cleaning. Ensure the filter is not exposed to excessive moisture.
- Mop Pad Care:
- Remove the mop pad from the mop holder.
- Wash the mop pad with water, optionally with mild detergent.
- Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
- Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Air dry the mop pad completely before reattaching.
