This manual guides users through the setup and operation of the Rotenso NetHome Plus application for dehumidifiers.

Part 2: Application Configuration and Usage
1. Download and Install the App
Users can download the NetHome Plus app from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS) by scanning the provided QR codes or searching directly.
Precautions:
- Ensure the app is updated to the latest version.
- Compatibility issues between the app and certain Android/iOS versions may occur; Rotenso is not responsible for such issues.
- The app supports WPA-PSK / WPA2-PSK encryption; WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK is recommended.
- Network issues may cause control process timeouts. If this happens, do not be alarmed if the display differs from the app; re-configuration might be needed.
- A smartphone camera with at least 5 megapixels is required for reliable QR code scanning.
- App updates may occur without prior notice. Actual configuration may vary slightly from the manual.
2. User Registration
Ensure your mobile device is connected to a wireless router that is connected to the internet. Users can register via email or use third-party accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Apple). A password recovery option is available.
3. Network Configuration
Cautions:
- Forget other networks and connect only to the desired wireless network.
- Ensure your mobile device's wireless function is stable.
- Complete configuration steps within 8 minutes of powering on the device.
3.1. Using Android or iOS device for network configuration
- Connect your mobile device to the target wireless network. Forget other networks.
- Disconnect the dehumidifier's power supply.
- Reconnect the power supply, then press and hold the "FILTER" button for over 3 seconds until "AP" is displayed, indicating AP mode.
3.2. Network configuration by Bluetooth scan
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Tap "+ Add Device".
- Tap "Scan for nearby devices".
- Wait for devices to be found, then tap to add.
- Select your home network and enter the password.
- Wait for the connection to complete.
- You can choose an existing name or customize a new name for the device.
- The device will now appear in the list after successful Bluetooth network configuration.
3.3. Network configuration by select appliance type
This method is used if Bluetooth configuration fails.
- Select the appliance type (e.g., Dehumidifier).
- Follow the steps to enter "AP" mode (press and hold "FILTER" for 3 seconds until "AP" is displayed).
- Choose the network configuration method.
- Select the "Scan the QR code" method (for Android only).
- For Android: Choose "Manual Setup". For iOS: Connect to the wireless network.
- Enter the password.
- Network configuration is successful.
- The device can be seen in the list after successful configuration.
Note: If the device status shows "offline" after configuration due to internet environment, refresh the device list in the app or restart the dehumidifier.
4. How to Use App
Ensure both your mobile device and dehumidifier are connected to the internet.
- Click "Sign in".
- Choose the device.
- Ensure the water bucket is correctly placed.
Users can control the dehumidifier's on/off status, operation mode, temperature, and fan speed.
5. Functions
The app provides control over various functions:
- Power: Turn the dehumidifier on/off.
- Fan mode: Adjust fan speed (high, medium, low).
- Continuous mode: Activate/deactivate continuous dehumidification.
- Auto dehumidification mode (on some models): Activate/deactivate automatic dehumidification.
- Dryer mode (on some models): Activate/deactivate dryer mode.
- Anti-mould mode (on some models): Activate/deactivate anti-mould function.
- Pure mode (on some models): Activate/deactivate pure mode.
- Humidity control: Adjust target humidity between 35%-85% RH using a pointer. The yellow pointer indicates current indoor humidity.
Note: Not all app functions may be available on all dehumidifier models. Refer to the specific model's user manual for details on functions like ION, Pump, and Pure.
6. Special Functions
6.1. Schedule
Users can set a weekly schedule to turn the dehumidifier on/off at specific times and define circulation modes.
6.2. Share Device
Multiple users can control the device simultaneously using the "Share Device" function.
- Click "Share device".
- Allow others to scan the displayed QR code.
- Other users must log into the NetHome Plus app, click "Add Share Device", and then scan the QR code.
- Add the shared device.
7. App Declaration
Operate the device only as instructed. Unauthorized changes may void the user's authority. The device complies with FCC radiation exposure limits for uncontrolled environments, maintaining a minimum distance of 20cm (8 inches) from the antenna during normal operation.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with Class B digital device limits under FCC Part 15. These limits aim to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations. The equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy, and may cause interference if not installed and used as instructed. If interference occurs, try reorienting the antenna, increasing separation between equipment and receiver, connecting to a different circuit, or consulting a dealer/technician.
