Operations and Maintenance
Resetting the Track
Step 2: Reset the track to play again. Push the reset button until it clicks [click]. A hand is shown pushing a button on the track mechanism, with an inset showing a close-up of the button and the word 'Click!' indicating the reset action.
Replacing the Rubber Band
Adult supervision required.
Follow these steps to replace the rubber band:
- Locate the rubber band compartment on the underside of the track base.
- Remove the old rubber band and insert the new one, ensuring it is properly seated.
- Secure the compartment cover.
Diagrams show the underside of the track base. Step 1 illustrates opening a compartment. Step 2 shows a rubber band being removed or inserted. Step 3 shows the compartment cover being closed.
Reattaching the Hot Wheels® Sign
If the base of the Hot Wheels® sign detaches from the track, reattach it as shown in the diagram. The diagram illustrates how to reinsert the base of the Hot Wheels sign into the track structure, showing connection points labeled A, B, C, D, E, F.
Assembly
This is a one-time assembly process.
- Assemble the main track support structure. Insert the launcher handle into the designated slot. Attach the flame accessory.
- Connect the curved track pieces (labeled A, B, C) to form the loop. Ensure connections are secure.
- Attach the straight track pieces (labeled D, E, F) to the base structure.
- Connect the final track section to complete the loop and launch area.
To Play
Step 1: Place a Hot Wheels car onto the launch track. Push the car forward to engage the launcher mechanism. Release the car to send it through the track.
