- This jack is a lifting device only.
- This jack is designed for use on hard, level surfaces only. Use on soft surfaces may cause instability.
- The load must be supported immediately by other appropriate means (e.g., jack stands).
- DO NOT get under the vehicle without using jack stands. Jacks are not designed to maintain heavy loads for long periods.
- DO NOT move or dolly the vehicle while on the jack.
- Lift only on areas of the vehicle as specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
- Only attachments and/or adapters supplied by the manufacturer shall be used.
- No alterations to the jack shall be made.
- Failure to heed these warnings may result in damage to the jack and/or failure resulting in personal injury or property damage.
- Inspect before each use.
CAUTION
Read, study, and understand all precautions and instructions before using this product.
Never overload the capacity of this unit.
This unit is designed for use on hard and flat surfaces; use on soft surfaces could cause load instability.
This is a lifting apparatus only; after lifting the vehicle, use safety supports.
Do not get under the vehicle without first placing safety supports.
Do not attempt to move or displace the vehicle with this apparatus.
Lift in the areas indicated by the vehicle manufacturer.
No modifications or alterations should be made to this product.
Disregarding these warnings could cause loss of load and/or result in material and personal damage.
Operations
Checking Oil Level
1. Lower the jack completely by turning the release valve counterclockwise. Force may be needed to lower the saddle.
2. Remove the inspection plate.
3. With the jack in a level position, remove the oil fill plug. Stand the jack vertically with the handle socket down.
4. The oil level should be level with the bottom of the fill hole. If not, add the missing amount of hydraulic jack oil, but do not overfill. Always use new, clean hydraulic jack oil.
5. Replace the fill plug and inspection plate.
6. Check jack operation. Purge air from the system as required.
System Air Purge Procedure
- Turn the release valve counterclockwise one full turn to open.
- Pump the handle eight full strokes.
- Turn the release valve clockwise to close the valve.
- Pump the handle until the ram reaches maximum height and continue pumping several times to remove trapped air.
- Carefully and slowly remove the oil fill plug to release trapped air.
- Turn the release valve counterclockwise one full turn and lower the ram to its lowest position. Use force if necessary.
- Turn the release valve clockwise to the closed position, replace the plastic plug, and check the hydraulic oil level. The jack should function normally. If not, repeat the purging procedure as necessary.
Raising Vehicle
- Ensure the jack and vehicle are on a hard, level surface.
- Always set the vehicle parking brake and block the wheels.
- Consult the vehicle owner's manual to ascertain the location of jack points and position the jack beneath the prescribed lift point.
- Turn the release valve clockwise to the closed position. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
- To raise the vehicle to the designed height, place the handle into the socket and pump up and down.
- Place jack stands beneath the vehicle at locations recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. Do not get under the vehicle without jack stands. Jacks are not designed to maintain heavy loads for long periods. Do not attempt to put jack stands simultaneously under both ends of the vehicle or under one side of the vehicle.
- Turn the release valve SLOWLY counterclockwise to lower the load onto the jack stands.
Lowering Vehicle
- Turn the release valve clockwise to the closed position.
- Pump the handle to lift the vehicle off the jack stands.
- Remove the jack stands. Do not get under or let anyone else under the vehicle while lowering.
- Turn the release valve SLOWLY counterclockwise to lower the vehicle onto the ground.
Inspection
The product shall be maintained according to the product instructions. No alterations shall be made to this product.
- Before use, perform a visual inspection for abnormal conditions such as cracked welds, damage, bent, worn, loose, or missing parts.
- Inspections shall be performed in accordance with this manual.

- (See item #4 in maintenance)
Maintenance
Monthly maintenance is recommended. Lubrication is critical for jacks as they support heavy loads. Restrictions due to dirt, rust, etc., can cause slow movement or rapid jerks, damaging internal components. The following steps are designed to keep the jack maintained and operational.
- Lubricate the ram, linkages, saddle, and pump mechanism with light oil.
- Visually inspect for cracked welds, bent, loose, missing parts, or hydraulic oil leaks.
- The product shall be inspected immediately if it is believed to have been subjected to abnormal load or shock.
- Any hydraulic jack found damaged in any way, worn, or operating abnormally shall be removed from service until repaired by an authorized customer service representative.
- Clean all surfaces and maintain all labels and warnings.
- Check and maintain the ram oil level.
- Check the ram every three months for any sign of rust or corrosion. Clean as needed and wipe with an oil cloth. When not in use, always leave the saddle and ram all the way down.
- Always store your jack in the fully lowered position. This will help protect critical areas from corrosion.
- Do not use brake or transmission fluids or regular motor oil as they can damage the seals. Always purchase and use products labeled Hydraulic Jack Oil.
