Advice Regarding First Time Use
After installation, remove stoppers from racks and retaining elastic elements from the upper rack.
Filling the Salt Reservoir
Salt prevents limescale formation. The salt reservoir must never be empty. It is important to set the water hardness.
The salt reservoir is located in the lower part of the dishwasher and must be filled when the SALT REFILL indicator light is lit.
- Remove the lower rack and unscrew the reservoir cap (anticlockwise).
- For the first use only: fill the salt reservoir with water.
- Position the funnel and fill the salt reservoir to the brim (approx. 1 kg). Some water may leak out.
- Remove the funnel and wipe any salt residue from the opening.
Ensure the cap is screwed on tightly to prevent detergent from entering the water softener, which could cause damage.
Always add salt before starting a wash cycle to avoid corrosion.
Setting the Water Hardness
To ensure the water softener works correctly, set the water hardness according to your local water supplier's information.
Default factory setting is for water hardness.
Steps to set water hardness:
- Switch on the appliance (ON/OFF button).
- Switch off the appliance (ON/OFF button).
- Hold down the START/Pause button for 5 seconds.
- Switch on the appliance (ON/OFF button).
- The ON/OFF LED will flash, indicating the current level.
- Set the desired water hardness level using the PROGRAM SELECTION knob.
- Switch off the appliance (ON/OFF button). Setting is complete.
Run a program without loading immediately after setting.
Use only salt specifically designed for dishwashers.
The SALT REFILL indicator light turns off after adding salt.
Not filling the salt container can damage the water softener and heating element due to limescale accumulation.
Salt is recommended with any type of dishwasher detergent.

DELAY
It is possible to delay the start time of the program by 2, 4, or 8 hours:
- After selecting the program and options, press the DELAY button. The indicator light turns on.
- Press the DELAY button repeatedly to select the desired delay time (2, 4, or 8 hours). Pressing again deselects the option.
- After selection, press START/PAUSE to begin the countdown. The selected delay period indicator light stays on, and the START/PAUSE button lights up.
- Once the delay time has elapsed, the DELAY indicator light turns off, and the program begins.
The DELAY function cannot be set once a program has started.
Loading the Racks
Upper Rack
Load delicate and light dishes: glasses, cups, saucers, low salad bowls.
Lower Rack
For pots, lids, plates, salad bowls, cutlery, etc. Large plates and lids should ideally be placed at the sides to avoid interference with the spray arm.
Adjusting the Height of the Upper Rack
The upper rack height can be adjusted for loading bulky crockery in the lower basket or to create more space upwards, avoiding collision with items in the lower rack. The upper rack has a height adjuster. Lift the rack by holding its sides until it is stable in the upper position. To lower it, press levers (A) on the sides and move the basket down.
It is strongly recommended not to adjust the rack height when loaded.
Never raise or lower the basket on one side only.
Cutlery Basket
The cutlery basket has top grids for improved arrangement. Position it at the front of the lower rack.
Knives and sharp utensils should be placed with points facing downwards or horizontally in the upper rack's tip-up compartments.
Foldable Flaps with Adjustable Position
Side foldable flaps can be folded or unfolded to optimize crockery arrangement. Wine glasses can be placed safely by inserting their stems into the corresponding slots.
Depending on the model:
- To unfold flaps: slide up and rotate, or release from snaps and pull down.
- To fold flaps: rotate and slide down, or pull up and attach to snaps.
Daily Use
- Check Water Connection: Ensure the dishwasher is connected to the water supply and the tap is open.
- Switch On Dishwasher: Press the ON/OFF button.
- Load Racks: Refer to the "Loading the Racks" section.
- Fill Detergent Dispenser: Refer to the "Filling the Detergent Dispenser" section.
- Choose Program & Customize Cycle: Select the appropriate program using the PROGRAM SELECTION knob based on crockery type and soiling level. Select desired options.
- Start: Press the START/Pause button to begin the wash cycle.
- End of Wash Cycle: The ON/OFF LED indicates the end. Switch off the appliance (ON/OFF button) and open the door. Wait a few minutes before unloading to avoid burns. Unload from the bottom rack first.
The machine switches off automatically during extended inactivity to save electricity.
If crockery is lightly soiled or pre-rinsed, reduce detergent amount.
Modifying a Running Program
If a program was started incorrectly, press and hold the ON/OFF button to switch off. Switch back on, select the new cycle/options, and press START/Pause.
Adding Extra Crockery
Without switching off, open the door (beware of hot steam!), add crockery, close the door, and press START/Pause. The cycle resumes from where it was interrupted.
Accidental Interruptions
If the door is opened or power is cut during a cycle, it stops. Close the door or restore power, then press START/Pause to resume.
Advice and Tips
General Tips
- Before loading, remove food residues and empty glasses. No pre-rinsing needed.
- Arrange crockery firmly to prevent tipping. Place containers with openings facing down and tilted to allow water flow.
- Lids, handles, and trays should not obstruct spray arm rotation.
- Place small items in the cutlery basket.
- Very soiled dishes and pans should go in the lower basket for stronger spray action.
- Ensure spray arms can rotate freely after loading.
Unsuitable Crockery
- Wooden crockery and cutlery.
- Delicate decorated glasses, artistic handicraft, antique crockery (decorations may not be resistant).
- Synthetic parts not resistant to high temperatures.
- Copper and tin crockery.
- Crockery soiled with ash, wax, lubricating grease, or ink.
Glass decoration colors and aluminum/silver pieces may fade. Some glass types (e.g., crystal) may become opaque after multiple wash cycles.
Damage to Glass and Crockery
- Use only glasses and porcelain guaranteed dishwasher-safe by the manufacturer.
- Use a delicate detergent suitable for crockery.
- Collect glasses and cutlery as soon as the wash cycle is over.
Tips on Energy Saving
- Using the dishwasher according to instructions generally consumes less energy and water than hand washing.
- Maximize efficiency by running the dishwasher when fully loaded.
- For partial loads, use dedicated options like Half Load/Zone Wash if available.
- Incorrect loading or overloading can increase resource usage (water, energy, time) and reduce performance.
- Manual pre-rinsing increases water and energy consumption and is not recommended.
Hygiene
To prevent odors and sediment, run a high-temperature program monthly without dishes, using a teaspoon of detergent.
Care and Maintenance
Cleaning the Filter Assembly
Regularly clean the filter assembly to prevent clogging and ensure proper water flow. Clogged filters or foreign objects can cause malfunction, reduced performance, noise, or increased resource usage.
The filter assembly has three filters: cylindrical (A), cup (B), and stainless-steel plate (C). These remove food residues from wash water.
The dishwasher must not be used without filters or if a filter is loose.
Clean the filter assembly monthly or after every 30 cycles:
- Turn cylindrical filter (A) anticlockwise and pull out.
- Gently press side flaps of cup filter (B) and remove.
- Slide out stainless-steel plate filter (C).
- Carefully remove any foreign objects (broken glass, porcelain, bones, etc.).
- Inspect the trap and remove food residues. Never remove the wash-cycle pump protection (black detail).
After cleaning, re-place the filter assembly correctly to maintain efficient operation.
Cleaning the Spray Arms
Food residue can clog spray arms. Periodically check and clean them with a small non-metallic brush.
- Upper spray arm: Turn the plastic locking ring anticlockwise to remove. Re-attach with the side having more holes facing upwards.
- Lower spray arm: Pull upwards to remove.
Water Softening System
The water softener automatically reduces water hardness, preventing scale buildup and improving cleaning efficiency. It regenerates using salt, so the salt container must be refilled when empty.
Regeneration frequency depends on water hardness setting. It occurs approximately once per 5 Eco cycles when water hardness is set to 3.
Regeneration starts during the final rinse and finishes during the drying phase.
- Single regeneration consumes approx. 3.5L of water.
- Adds up to 5 minutes to the cycle.
- Consumes less than 0.005kWh of energy.
Cleaning the Water Inlet Hose
If hoses are new or unused for a long time, run water through them to clear impurities before connecting. Failure to do so may block the inlet and damage the dishwasher.
