The mouse has the following default button assignments:

Quick Start Guide
- Connect the Dongle: Plug the wireless dongle into any free USB port on your PC or laptop. Alternatively, enable Bluetooth®.
- Select Connection Mode: Use the connection mode slider underneath the mouse. Select 2.4GHz mode to connect via the dongle, or Bluetooth® mode to connect via Bluetooth®.
- Pairing Mode: Hold down the profile button for 3 seconds to enable pairing mode. If connecting via dongle, the mouse pairs automatically. For Bluetooth®, pair manually via your device's Bluetooth® settings.
- Download Software: Navigate to www.roccat.org/roccat-swarm and download the latest version of Swarm.
- Complete Installation: Install Swarm to access all software features and setup options.
Driverless Setup
You can configure the mouse without installing software:
- Config Mode: Press the profile button and the left mouse button simultaneously for three seconds. The mouse LEDs will blink with the active profile's color. To exit config mode, repeat this action.
- DPI Adjustment: While in config mode, use the scroll wheel (scroll up/down) to change DPI levels. The LEDs will indicate the selected DPI preset with a specific color (400 DPI - red, 800 DPI - green, 1200 DPI - blue, 1600 DPI - cyan, 3200 DPI - pink).
- Polling Rate Adjustment: Press the forward or backward side button to change the polling rate. The right mouse button will blink to indicate the selected rate (125Hz - blue, 250Hz - green, 500Hz - yellow, 1000Hz - white).
- Lift-off Distance: Click the mouse wheel to switch between 1mm and 2mm lift-off distance. The left mouse button will blink to indicate the selection (1mm - red, 2mm - green).
- LED Brightness: While holding the left mouse button, press the forward or backward side button to adjust LED brightness in 10% increments.
- RGB Modes: While holding the right mouse button, press the forward or backward side button to cycle through RGB modes (Static, Wave, Heartbeat, Breathing, Blinking).
- LED Color Change: While holding the left or right mouse buttons and scrolling the wheel up or down, you can change the LED color from 16 presets. Holding both buttons simultaneously changes both at once.
