Safety Instructions
1. Electrical Specifications
- All wiring must comply with local and national electrical codes and be installed by a qualified electrician. Contact a qualified electrician for any questions regarding these instructions.
- Install the unit in accordance with national wiring regulations. Check available power supply and resolve any wiring problems before installation and operation.
- For safety and protection, the unit is grounded through the power cord plug when plugged into a properly grounded wall outlet. Consult an electrician if unsure about grounding. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
2. WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury, follow these basic precautions:
- Indoor use only. Prohibited for outdoor or in-humid environments like bathrooms.
- Do not remove the ground prong.
- Do not use an adapter.
- Do not use an extension cord.
- Never share the power outlet with other appliances.
- Never connect or disconnect the power plug with wet hands to avoid electric shocks.
- Never turn off the unit by unplugging.
- Unplug the air conditioner before servicing.
- Never dismantle, repair, or modify the unit without authorization to avoid injury or property damage. Ensure repairs are done by the manufacturer or professionals.
- Never put any objects into the unit.
- Never cover or obstruct the air inlet or outlet to prevent overheating.
- Never hit or shake the unit to prevent damage.
- Never spray water or place the unit near water to prevent electric shocks.
- Never place the unit near gas appliances, fire, or flammable liquids.
- Move and install the unit with two or more people.
- Keep children away from the unit.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
3. Cautions
- Keep the unit at least 1 meter away from TV or radios to avoid electromagnetic interference.
- Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight to avoid surface color fading.
- Do not tilt the unit more than 35 degrees or upside-down during transportation.
- Place the unit on a flat surface and upright with less than 5 degrees inclination.
- The unit operates more efficiently in certain room locations (refer to Installation and Adjustment).
- Keep the drain hose in good condition without flexure, then connect with the unit.
- Manually adjust the vertical and horizontal louvers slightly to protect them from damage.
- Empty the condensed drainage pan before storing the unit to prolong its lifetime at the end of the season.
- Do not use chemical solvents (e.g., Benzene, alcohol-glazer) to clean the unit surface; do not scratch or damage the unit.
- Ensure power is cut off before disassembling or installing the filter.
- Risk of Electric Shock: Disconnect power before servicing the unit.
- A damaged power supply cord must be replaced with a new one obtained from the product manufacturer and not repaired.
- Use on a single outlet circuit only.
Remark: Do not use this unit in cooling mode if the ambient temperature is higher than 95°F (35℃).
Function
- This unit offers cooling, dry, fan, and sleep modes, ideal for home and office use.
- The unit has two fan-speed levels accessible via panel control and remote control.
- Temperature setting range: 62.6-86°F (17-30℃).
- The unit is designed with various protection functions, including a 24-hour programmable timer, auto condensate circle, super intelligent temperature sensor, and water-full control and warning.

Operation and Settings
1. Control Panel
The control panel allows for operation of the air conditioner. Key buttons include:
- POWER: On/Off button
- MODE: Mode button (Cool, Dry, Fan)
- FAN: Fan speed button (High, Low)
- TIMER: Timer button
- Up/Down Arrows: Adjust temperature or timer settings
- °C/°F: Button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit degrees
Indicators include:
- Timer indicator
- Water-full indicator
- Fan mode indicator
- Dehumidify mode indicator
- Power indicator
- Celsius/Fahrenheit temperature indicator
- LED display window
2. Control Panel Operation
The unit supports Cool, Dehumidifying, Fan, and Sleep modes.
- Turn on the unit:
- Plug in the unit. Indicators will light up, and a reminder sound will play. The display window shows the ambient temperature (50-95°F / 10-35°C). The POWER indicator is red in standby.
- Press the POWER button. The unit turns on with a reminder sound. The POWER indicator turns green. The unit operates in Cool Mode automatically, with the temperature set to 75.2°F (24℃) and fan running at high speed (indicated in green).
- Select operating mode: Press the MODE button to select the desired mode (COOL, DRY, FAN), and its corresponding indicator will light up.
- Adjust temperature: Under cooling mode, the temperature can be set between 62.6-86°F (17-30℃). Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to increase or decrease the temperature by 1.8°F (1°C) per press. Pressing the Up and Down buttons together converts between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
- Adjust fan speed: Press the FAN button to select the desired fan speed (Low or High).
- Stand-by: Press the POWER button again to stop the unit. The POWER indicator will turn red.
Notice: Working principle for each mode and function
- Cool mode: The compressor and fan start when the room temperature is 1.8°F (1°C) higher than the set temperature. The compressor stops when the room temperature is 1.8°F (1°C) lower than the set temperature, but the fan continues to run. Room temperature can be set between 62.6-86°F (17-30℃), and fan speed can be adjusted to high or low.
- Fan mode: The fan runs at the set speed (high or low). The compressor does not work. Room temperature is displayed (50-95°F / 10-35℃) but cannot be adjusted.
- Dehumidify mode: The fan runs at low speed automatically. Fan speed and room temperature cannot be adjusted. Room temperature is displayed (50-95°F / 10-35℃).
- Sleep mode: Under cooling mode, press "Timer" + "Down Arrow" buttons together to enter Sleep Mode. The fan automatically switches to low speed and cannot be adjusted. The set temperature increases by 1°C (1.8°F) after 2 hours, and by another 1.8°F (1°C) after another 2 hours, then remains unchanged. Room temperature is displayed (50-95°F / 10-35℃).
- Timer Operation: Press the "Timer" button to set automatic OFF time while the unit is running, or automatic ON time while the unit is off. The time can be adjusted within a range of 1-24 hours using the Up/Down arrow buttons.
3. Remote Control Operation
The remote control transmits signals to the system. Key buttons include:
- POWER: Starts or stops the unit.
- TIMER: Sets automatic on/off time.
- High/Low: Selects fan speed (except dry and sleep modes).
- Up/Down Arrows: Increase or decrease temperature or timer setting.
- °C/°F: Switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit degrees.
- Cool: Selects "Cool" mode.
- Fan: Selects "Fan" mode.
- Dry: Selects "Dry" or "dehumidifying" mode.
- Sleep: Selects "Sleep" function under cooling mode.
Before using your remote, install the AAA batteries:
- Slide the battery cover on the back of the remote to remove it.
- Insert two new alkaline AAA batteries, noting proper polarity.
- Reattach the battery cover, ensuring the locking tab clicks into place.
Notes:
- Use alkaline batteries only; do not use rechargeable batteries.
- When replacing batteries, replace both with new ones; do not mix old and new batteries.
- If the air conditioner will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries from the remote control.
CAUTION: If battery liquid gets on your skin or clothes, wash with clean water. If ingested, brush your teeth and see a doctor, as battery chemicals can cause burns or other health hazards.
Multiple Protection Functions
- Anti-freeze protection function: The compressor and water spraying motor turn off if the tube temperature is continuously ≤35.6°F (2℃) for 20 seconds in cooling mode. "E4" will display, and controls become inactive except for the power button. Protection is relieved when the tube temperature reaches ≥46.4°F (8℃), and the compressor applies a 3-minute delay protection.
- Water-full safety alarm and shut-off protection function: Warning sounds when the water tank is full. The unit stops working, and the water-full indicator and "FL" flash on the LED window. Drain the condensate to recover operation (refer to Drainage Instruction).
- Delay protection function of compressor: Offers restart protection. After the compressor is shut down, there is a 3-minute start delay before it can restart, except for the initial power-on.
Handling and Transportation
1. Handle and move the unit
Hold the handles on the side panels to move the unit in an upright position.
Note:
- Keep the unit in an upright position during handling or moving.
- Drain the water completely to prevent leakage and wetting the floor or carpet before handling or moving.
Installation & Adjustment
1. Installation
Warning: Keep the mobile air-conditioner in an upright position for at least 2 hours before first installation.
- This air-conditioner can be moved indoors conveniently; keep the unit upright while moving.
- The air-conditioner shall be placed on a flat surface.
- Do not install or operate this air-conditioner in a bathroom or other wet environments.
1.1 Installation of exhaust hose assembly and its adapter
- Take out the exhaust hose assembly and its adapter from the plastic bag.
- Extend the exhaust hose at one end and screw the round end of the adapter into the exhaust hose in an anticlockwise direction. Note: Screw the adapter in securely (at least 3 laps) for a good connection.
1.2 Installation of the exhaust hose assembly into unit
- Determine the window seal-plate position (vertical or horizontal).
- If the window seal-plate is horizontal, the slant panel A of the adapter should be upwards.
- If the window seal-plate is vertical and on the left side of the window, the slant panel A of the adapter should be directed to the right.
- If the window seal-plate is vertical and on the right side of the window, the slant panel A of the adapter should be directed to the left.
- Connect the exhaust hose and adapter assembly to the unit's exhaust outlet on the back panel. Ensure the correct direction of the slant side A of the adapter for ease of window seal-plate installation.
- Gently push the assembly into the unit for a secure lock.
1.3 Installation of window seal-plate
- Open the window in half and insert the seal-plate, determining its vertical or horizontal position according to the window opening direction.
- Extend the seal plate parts and adjust them to the window length, then fix with screws.
1.4 Installation of the unit
- Move the unit with its exhaust hose assembly in front of the window, keeping it at least 19.7 inches away from walls or other objects.
- Install the rectangle end of the exhaust hose adapter into the corresponding rectangle hole in the window seal-plate assembly. Align the 4 openings on the window seal-plate with the 4 openings on the exhaust hose adapter, set them together, and slide the adapter downwards to lock them.
- Secure with a self-tapping screw (4x4 mm) into the adapter hole. Slide the adapter downwards and ensure it is installed correctly. Lock the screw tightly to prevent it from falling off.
Remarks:
- The exhaust hose should not be bent or flexed more than 45 degrees to ensure good ventilation.
- The exhaust hose is 280mm-1500mm long. Do not use a prolonged hose or different hoses, as this may affect the unit's functions. A smooth exhaust hose is necessary to prevent overheating and tripping due to obstruction.
Drainage Instruction
1. Manual drain:
When the water tank is full, warning sounds will occur, and the unit will stop working. The water-full indicator and "FL" will flash on the LED display.
- Place a tray below the water outlet at the back of the unit.
- Unscrew the drain cover and remove the water stopper for water to flow into the tray.
- After drainage, plug in the stopper and screw the water cover tightly onto the water outlet.
Notes:
- Protect the drain cover and water stopper properly.
- Move the unit carefully to avoid leakage if necessary.
- Tilt the unit slightly backwards when draining.
- Block the drain hole promptly if the tray is full to prevent water leakage.
- Ensure the water stopper and drain cover are tightly installed to prevent condensate from wetting the floor or carpet when the unit restarts.
2. Continuous drain:
- Unscrew the drain cover and remove the water stopper.
- Connect a 13mm PVC drain hose to the drain hole, ensuring a snug fit to avoid leakage.
- Route the drain hose to a bathroom or outdoor drain.
Notes:
- The drain hose must be installed before the unit starts working.
- It is suggested to use manual drainage in cooling mode to ensure sufficient water recycling for the unit to cool the condenser and enhance cooling performance.
- Place the drain hose in an inaccessible location, not higher than the drainage hole, and keep it straight without any flexure.
- Keep the drain cover and its stopper properly installed when continuous drainage is used.
Maintenance and Service
Remark: Turn off the unit and unplug it before performing maintenance or sending it for service.
1. Surface cleaning
Clean the unit surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use chemical solvents like alcohol or gasoline, as they can damage the unit.
2. Filter cleaning
Clean the filter every two weeks. A clogged filter will reduce the unit's performance.
- Gently grip the filter handle and pull it out in the correct direction.
- Clean the filters in warm water (about 104°F / 40°C) mixed with detergent, and dry them in the shade.
- Push the filter back into its correct place, ensuring it is firmly seated to avoid damage.
Notes:
- Do not squeeze the mesh.
- Do not hit the mesh with sharp objects or brushes.
End of Season Storage
- Unscrew the drain cover and pull out the stopper to drain all water completely.
- Keep the unit running in fan mode for half a day to dry the inside of the unit completely, preventing mold.
- Turn off the unit, unplug the power cord, then wrap the power cord around the wire-winding pillar, and insert the plug into the universal fixing hole at the back panel. Install the water plug and drain cap.
- Remove the heat exhaust hose assembly, clean it, and keep it properly.
- When removing the exhaust hose assembly, hold it with both hands. Push the fasteners on the exhaust air outlet using your thumbs, then pull out the exhaust hose assembly.
- Pack the air-conditioner with a soft plastic bag and put it in a dry place with appropriate dust-proof measures. Keep the unit away from children.
- Take the batteries out of the remote control and keep the unit in a dry place, including all accessories.
Troubleshooting
Check the unit and suggestions below before seeking professional service. Never dismantle or repair the unit yourself, as it may cause harm.
