Safety Instructions

• Never attach the fan to a power point; mount it directly to the ceiling.
• Ensure a minimum distance of 2.3 meters between the fan blades and the floor.
• The mounting hook must have a minimum load capacity of 100 kg.
• Install an all-pole disconnection switch with a contact separation of at least 3 mm between poles in the supply wiring.
• Always switch off the power supply before making any connections.
• Electrical wiring must comply with local regulations.
• The fan must be properly earthed to prevent the risk of electric shock.
• Never mount the fan in a moist or wet room.
• Exercise caution when working near rotating blades.
• Note: Always have your fan installed by someone knowledgeable about electrical wiring.

Installation

Follow these steps for installation:

1. Secure the mounting plate to a ceiling joist using two screws, spring washers, and provided seals. Ensure the mounting plate support can safely hold the fan's weight.
2. Hang the fan assembly onto the mounting plate. Align the plate's lug with the corresponding groove on the fan assembly's ball joint.
3. Insert the remote control receiver between the bracket, the ball joint, and the sensor as illustrated.
4. Connect the male connector to the female connector (from the remote control receiver to the fan, and from the remote control to the terminal block).
5. Connect the wires from the earthed mains supply to the terminal block.
6. Lift the canopy into place over the mounting plate, ensuring no wires are trapped.
7. Fasten the blade assembly to the motor using the screws and spring washers already attached to the motor.
8. Connect the light kit by clipping together the two plastic male/female connectors.
9. Fit the light kit to the switch housing using the three light kit-fixing screws and star washers. Ensure no wires are trapped.
10. Install the light bulb.
11. Install the lampshade by rotating it clockwise.

Operation

Manual Operation

• Select fan speed by pressing the speed control button on the remote transmitter:
• HI: High Speed
• MED: Medium Speed
• LOW: Low Speed
• OFF: Off
• The switch on the motor housing controls the fan blades' rotation direction and thus the air movement direction. Before using this switch, turn off the fan and ensure it has stopped rotating to prevent injury or motor damage.
• For cold weather: Push the switch "UP" to direct warm air downwards into the room.
• For hot weather: Push the switch "DOWN" to create a breeze and circulate air in the room.

Remote Control

• Press the "ON/OFF" light button on the remote transmitter to turn the light on or off.
• Press and hold the "DIMMER" button to adjust the light brightness.
• Use the remote control transmitter to change fan speed and switch the light and fan on or off.
• To replace batteries: Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow. Insert 2 x "AAA" batteries, ensuring correct polarity as indicated in the compartment. Replace the cover.
• Note: Batteries for the remote control are NOT included.
• Always ensure the battery compartment cover is closed properly.
• Do not expose the remote control to direct sunlight.
• Do not attempt to recharge expired batteries unless they are specifically marked as rechargeable.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire to avoid explosion.
