1. Getting Started
Follow these steps to set up your Sony MDR-XB50BS wireless sports headphones.
Unboxing and Charging
Inside the box, you will find:

- Reference Guide
To charge the headphones:
- Connect the charging cable to the headphones and a USB power source (e.g., computer or USB adapter).
- The [charging] indicator will show the charging status. Charging is complete when the indicator turns off or changes color.
- Full charge time is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes ([timer] 02h:30m).
Powering On and Off
Press and hold the power button to turn the headphones [power on] or [power off].
2. Pairing and Connecting
Connect your headphones to your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
Bluetooth Pairing
To pair your headphones with a device for the first time:
- Turn on the headphones. They will automatically enter pairing mode.
- On your smartphone or device, enable [Bluetooth].
- Select "MDR-XB50BS" from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
- Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing. A confirmation sound or indicator will signal a successful connection.
Connecting to Android/iPhone
The pairing process is similar for both Android and iPhone devices. Navigate to your device's Bluetooth settings, search for "MDR-XB50BS", and select it to connect.
NFC Pairing (One-Touch Connection)

Selecting the Right Earbud Tips

Wearing the Headphones

- Noise Cancelling/Ambient Sound Mode: Press the NC/AMB button to switch between noise cancelling mode and ambient sound mode, or turn them off.
Managing Calls
When a call comes in:
- Answer Call: Press the multi-function button ([call] ?).
- End Call: Press the multi-function button during the call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-function button.
