Panasonic OLED TV Operating Instructions
Models: TH-55MZ2000Z, TH-65MZ2000Z
Important Notice
Installing Environment
This TV features the "Space Tune" function, which automatically adjusts sound quality based on the TV's and viewer's position. It allows for a three-dimensional acoustic experience by utilizing upward-firing speakers and line array speakers. The adjustment begins automatically upon the first power-on after installation and connection of external equipment. Follow on-screen instructions for setup (refer to page 12).
"Space Tune" can be set using [Space Tune Auto] (automatic adjustment via voice control microphone) or [Preset Adjustment] (manual input of installation environment). A test tone is output during [Space Tune Auto] setup. This function is only effective for the TV's built-in speakers and its performance varies with the environment.

Connecting Bluetooth® devices
Registering Bluetooth® devices
This TV supports Bluetooth® communications. Registered (paired) devices can connect to the TV. Keep devices within 50 cm during pairing. Incompatible devices cannot be registered. If a paired device is used on another device, it may become unavailable for this TV; re-register if necessary. The TV supports Bluetooth® audio devices with A2DP; expect a slight delay between video and audio. Up to 2 A2DP devices can be used simultaneously by enabling [Dual Audio] in Bluetooth settings.
Registering the remote control (supplied)
The remote uses Bluetooth® or infrared communication. Voice controls require Bluetooth® pairing. The remote is automatically registered (paired) upon first use when a button is pressed while pointing at the signal receiver. For manual registration, face the remote within 50 cm of the signal receiver. Registration may fail if batteries are low.
If registration fails: Follow the menu path: [Main Menu] > [Setup] > [System Menu] > [Remote Control Settings] > [Pairing].
When the remote control does not respond: Press and hold specific buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. To deregister (unpair), navigate: [Main Menu] > [Setup] > [System Menu] > [Remote Control Settings] > [Unpair]. Then, re-register the remote.
Note: Infrared communication requires direct line-of-sight. Bluetooth® communication does not require direct line-of-sight, except for turning the TV on/off.

Steps: 1. Plug in the TV and turn it on. 2. Follow on-screen instructions to select language, viewing environment (e.g., [Home] or [Shop]), and set up network connection. 3. Tick the TV signal mode and select [Start Auto Tuning]. 4. Select your region (Satellite) and adjust Space Tune if needed.
Auto Tuning is now complete.
Note: If tuning fails, check cables and network connection. The TV enters Standby mode after 10 minutes of no signal if [No signal Power off] is set to [On]. Options are provided to retune channels, set LNB frequency, add TV signals, or initialise all settings.
FAQs
Refer to [eHELP] (Support > FAQs) for more details.
- Image display delay: Panel adjustment occurs on power-on; this is normal.
- TV does not switch on: Check mains lead connection.
- TV goes into Standby mode: Auto power standby function is active.
- Remote control issues: Check batteries, ensure TV is on, replace low batteries. Point remote directly at the signal receiver (within 7m, 30° angle). Avoid bright light on the receiver. Ensure remote is paired for voice controls. If problems persist, deregister and re-register the remote.
- No image displayed: Check TV is on, mains lead connected, correct input selected, and picture settings (Luminance, Contrast, Brightness, Colour) are not at minimum. Ensure all cables are firmly connected. Reboot the TV by pressing and holding the power switch for 5+ seconds.
- Unusual image displayed: Use the built-in [TV Self Test] feature ([Help] menu).
Troubleshooting:
- Rebooting: Unplug and replug the mains plug, or use the [Reboot] option in the System Menu. Initialize settings via [Shipping Condition] if problems persist.
- HDMI image/sound unusual: Set [HDMI Auto Setting] to [Mode1] (page 9).
- No sound from HDMI: Set audio output format of connected HDMI equipment to PCM.
- Voice control not working: Ensure remote is paired. Check network connections.
- TV parts become hot: Temperature rises are normal and do not affect performance.
- Display panel moves slightly: A small gap around the panel is normal and prevents damage.
- Inquiries: Contact your local Panasonic dealer. Visual confirmation may be required for some inquiries.
- LED turns orange: Panel maintenance may be in progress.
Maintenance
Display panel, Cabinet, Pedestal
Regular care: Gently wipe surfaces with a soft cloth to remove dirt or fingerprints.
For stubborn dirt: Clean dust, then dampen a soft cloth with clean water or diluted neutral detergent (1:100 ratio). Wring out firmly. Wipe dirt, then wipe away moisture. Do not let liquid enter the TV.
Caution: Do not use hard cloths or rub too hard, as this may cause scratches. Avoid insect repellent, solvents, or volatile substances, which can degrade surface quality. Take care not to tap or scratch the panel with fingernails or hard objects. Do not let the cabinet/pedestal contact rubber or PVC for extended periods.
Mains plug
Wipe the mains plug with a dry cloth periodically. Moisture and dust can cause fire or electric shock.
