Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Govee Portable Lamp. This lamp emits warm and smooth white lighting, and you can also apply over 16 million RGB lighting effects via connecting to the Govee Home app.
Safety Instructions
Read and follow all the safety instructions:
- The lamp is not waterproof. Avoid exposing it to splashing or dripping water.
- The operating temperature should be within -10° to 45°C (14° to 113°F).
- The lamp's internal light source cannot be replaced. If it breaks, you must replace the entire lamp.
- Do not install the lamp with a dimming driver.
- Do not place the lamp near a heat source or expose it to sunlight for a long time.
- Avoid installing the lamp near potentially dangerous sources (e.g., candles, liquid-filled objects).
- Avoid charging the product in environments lower than 32°F (0°C) or higher than 113°F (45°C). Avoid using the product in environments below -4°F (-20°C) or above 140°F (60°C).

Control Button Operations
- Power On: Press and hold for 3 seconds.
- Power Off: Press and hold for 10 seconds (the light will flash with blue twice).
- Sleep Mode: Press and hold for 2 seconds.
- Awake: Press once in Sleep mode.
- Color Switch: Press to switch between different colors.
Installing Your Device
- Connect the adapter to the lamp via the DC charging port.
- Power on the adapter (the lamp is available to use during charging).
Pairing Your Device with the Govee Home App
What you need:
- Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
- Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- Open the app, tap the "+" icon in the top right corner, and search for "H6055".
- Tap the device icon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing.

Troubleshooting
Cannot connect to the Govee Home app.
- Check if the device is powered on.
- Check if Bluetooth on the smartphone is enabled, or try connecting with another smartphone.
- When connecting for the first time, ensure the smartphone is near the device.
- If the connection error still exists, please delete the connected device from "My Devices" on the app. Reconnect to the Govee Home app by following the instructions provided previously.
How long will the battery last after fully charged?
- When powered by the battery, the lamp will automatically turn on energy-saving mode for better battery life.
- With warm white lighting, the battery can last for 4 to 5 hours. It can last longer with colored lighting.
How to check the battery status of the lamp?
- You can check the battery status on the Govee Home app after connecting via Bluetooth.
Can multiple users control one device?
- Each device can only be controlled by one account.
- If multiple users want to manage the same device, ensure they all use the same account.
Battery Disposal and Safety
When disposing of secondary cells or batteries, keep cells or batteries of different electrochemical systems separate from each other.
Be aware discharged batteries may cause fire or smoke; tape the terminals to insulate them.
CAUTION: Risk of explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
WARNING: The batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire, or the like. Extremely low air pressure that may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
