Marea B59003 Smartwatch User Manual
Model: B59003
Precautions Before First Use
- The company reserves the right to modify the content of this manual without prior notification. Some functions may vary in different software versions.
- Charge the watch with the provided charger for at least 2 hours before first use.
- In the app, configure personal information to synchronize the time before use. Refer to synchronization instructions for more details.
- The watch has an IP68 water-resistance rating. It cannot be used in corrosive liquids or hot water, tea, etc. It is not compatible with diving in waters deeper than 3 meters. The aforementioned situations will cause damage to the smartwatch (these damages will not be covered by the warranty).
1. Product Description
The smartwatch features a display zone with a touch screen, a magnetic charging port, a heart rate sensor, and a pusher.
Smartwatches can be paired with:
- Android phones: compatible with operating system 5.0 and above.
- iPhones: compatible with operating system 9.0 and above.
2. App Download and Pairing
2.1 Scan the QR code to download the app:
It is recommended to use a browser to scan the QR code and download the application. Corresponding permissions must be granted to the application during the download and installation process to ensure proper Bluetooth connection functionality. The application name is "LinkTo Sport".

Notes:
- For iPhones: If the phone is in standby or hibernation for a long time (e.g., 2 hours or more without use and with the screen off), LinkTo Sport may be closed by the iOS system, causing the app and watch to disconnect. Reactivate the phone to reconnect automatically.
- For Android phones: After installing the app, enable background usage permissions in your phone's settings. The steps may vary by phone model. For example, on a Huawei phone: Settings -> Apps -> App launch management -> LinkTo Sport: find the app, change from automatic to manual management, and enable all permissions (auto-launch, secondary launch, run in background). This ensures the app maintains Bluetooth connection with the watch while the phone is in standby and prevents Android from closing the app. It does not affect network or battery consumption.
2.2 Pair the smartwatch and phone
- Open the app and choose "Register" or "Log in without registering".
- For Android phones: Click “Link new equipment” and select your smartwatch model. The QR scanner will open.
- Open the QR code on the watch and scan to pair. Connection takes about 30 seconds. Confirm all permission requests to ensure correct functionality.
- For iPhones: A "Bluetooth pairing" request will appear on your phone after scanning.
- If QR code scanning fails, select the manual connection option for Bluetooth pairing.
2.3 App Configuration (functions available after successful pairing)
- Call Notification: Enable/disable. If enabled, you can reject incoming calls from the watch.
- Social Media Notifications: Enable/disable and select which notifications to receive on the watch.

- Remote Camera Control: (May require manually opening the camera app on some phones).

- Firmware Update: Ensure at least 50% battery before updating and keep the watch near the phone during the update.

3.4 Pedometer

3.5 Sports
- 3.5.1 Sports Modes: Include outdoor walking, indoor walking, outdoor running, indoor running, cycling, mountaineering, and swimming.
- 3.5.2 Start a Workout: Click the icon to enter the corresponding sport mode and set a daily goal (distance, time, or calories) or no objective. The smartwatch will automatically save the settings for the next use of that sport mode. Data is saved if exercise time exceeds 5 minutes or steps exceed 200.
- 3.5.3 During Workout: The screen will display the sport type and start time. Swipe up and down to view detailed records.
- 3.5.4 Goal Completion: The smartwatch will display "Goal completed" when the preset objective is met. Recording continues even if the exercise continues.

Swipe right to exit and return to the previous screen. The app allows viewing heart rate history, including highest and average data.
- 3.6.2 Blood Pressure: The screen will display "--mmHg". After two seconds, the blood pressure test begins. Data is displayed on the watch screen once detected and continuously monitored. Swipe right to exit and return to the previous screen. Both heart rate and blood pressure tests take 10-30 seconds.
3.7 Pair with QR Code
In the app, select “Link new equipment” to scan the watch's QR code for phone pairing. The "connection" icon in the watch's dropdown menu will turn blue when connected. Each watch can only connect to one phone.
3.8 Exercise Record
The last 8 exercise records can be viewed chronologically by swiping up and down.
3.9 Sleep
The default sleep monitor starts at 21:00 and ends the next day at 7:30. Sleep time can be checked on the watch the following morning. If linked to the phone, sleep records sync automatically (or manually) with the app. The smartwatch automatically identifies sleep status, though detected data may differ from actual data during the initial detection phase. The final detected data will be identical to actual sleep data once monitoring is complete. Deviations may occur due to changes in sleep modes.
3.10 Remote Music Player
- 3.10.1 Disconnected: If the watch is not paired with the phone, a "disconnected" message will appear when clicking the "Music" icon, and it will close automatically.
- 3.10.2 Control: After pairing, access the watch's music player function to control the phone's music player. Compatibility may vary. The watch can usually control the phone's music player directly, but the phone's app may need to be opened first.
- 3.10.3 Functionality: The watch can pause, play, and skip to the previous or next song, but it does not display song names or adjust volume.
3.11 Alarm (configured in the app)
The app supports up to 5 alarms. The "Alarm" function screen displays 2 alarms; swipe up to see more.
3.12 Countdown
Set the target time, then click the start icon. The screen will display "time elapsed" and the watch will vibrate.
3.13 Chronograph
Click the start icon to begin. Click the green icon to pause. Click the blue icon to save a split time. If the count stops, the blue icon turns red; clicking it stops the count and clears all records. Records up to 20 split times are saved. Swipe up or down to view more split time records.

- Backlight Time: Choose the screen timeout duration in 5-second increments (5-95 seconds).

- QR Code to Download App: Scan this QR code with your phone to download the latest app version.
- Reset Factory Values: Tap the left icon to exit or the right icon to reset the watch to factory settings (all watch data will be erased; linked phone data is not erased unless the phone is also reset).

4. Precautions
- 4.1 App Installation: Only install one pairing application on the smartphone to ensure a normal connection with the smartwatch. Multiple connected apps may affect the connection.
- 4.2 Unknown Sources: Some phones may prevent app installation. Go to phone settings and authorize "unknown sources".
- 4.3 Permissions: When the phone requests permissions, click "Allow" to ensure the app functions correctly (e.g., receiving notifications, scanning QR codes, remote camera). These permissions do not affect phone data or information.
- 4.4 Background App Management: Some Android phones may automatically close apps during cleaning. Ensure the mobile app is always running in the background. (Method: Phone Settings -> App Management -> LinkTo Sport -> Permissions -> Background Management -> Select background execution. Configuration methods may vary by phone model).
- 4.5 Heart Rate Monitoring: Requires the watch to be in contact with the wrist, not too tight or too loose. Tightness can affect blood flow, and looseness can affect sensor monitoring.
- 4.6 Impact: Avoid hitting the smartwatch, as it could break the glass.
- 4.7 Charging: Use a 5V, 1A charger. Fast charging is not supported. Do not charge if wet to avoid short circuits and damage.
- 4.8 Medical Reference: This smartwatch is an electronic monitoring product, not for medical reference.
5. Troubleshooting
If a problem occurs, follow these steps. If the problem persists, contact the vendor or designated maintenance personnel.
- 5.1 Watch Cannot Turn On:
- Press the touch area of the screen for more than 3 seconds.
- Ensure sufficient battery charge (at least 2 hours recommended).
- If the watch has not been used for a long time and the normal charger is unresponsive, try charging with a 5V/1A power output.
- 5.2 Automatic Power Off: Battery charge may be too low; please charge it.
- 5.3 Battery Drains Quickly:
- Ensure the battery is fully charged (at least 2 hours).
- The charger or cable may not be functioning correctly; use new ones.
- Check the data cable port and try again for a proper connection.
- 5.4 Bluetooth Disconnects or Fails to Connect:
- Restart the phone.
- Turn the phone's Bluetooth off and on again to reconnect.
- 5.5 Inaccurate Sleep Data: The sleep monitor mimics natural sleep patterns. Use the smartwatch during the day. Using it only during sleep may cause deviations, especially if going to bed late or only during sleep. Sleep data may not be generated if sleep occurs during the day, as the default sleep time is between 21:00 and 7:30.
