Product Features

Pre-Installation

  1. Bulbs may be packed separately. Carefully remove bulbs from the box and insert into the string sockets. Screw tightly to ensure a proper connection.

    a) Connect the solar panel to the string lights connector.

    b) Select ON on the back of the solar panel.

    c) The bulbs should now illuminate.

Once bulbs are illuminated, turn the solar panel switch to OFF and continue with installation.

  2. Ensure the solar panel is positioned for optimal sunlight exposure. Be aware of objects like trees or building overhangs that may impede charging.

[Illustration showing solar panel placement with potential obstructions]
  3. Before first use, the solar panel needs 3 days of initial sunlight charge. This should be done with the string lights disconnected or the solar panel in the OFF position. After 3 days, the included batteries will be fully charged.

The solar panel should be mounted where the ON/OFF switch is easily accessible.

Installation

Mounting the Solar Panel

The solar panel can be mounted using two options:

Option 1: Mounting Bracket (Wall/Surface Mount)

  1. If needed, use the two wall plugs (H) and two large screws (G). Install screws through the outer holes of the mounting bracket (E) to secure it to the chosen surface.
  2. Attach the mounting base (D) to the back of the solar panel (B) using the small screw (F).
  3. Slide the solar panel down onto the mounting bracket (E) until it clicks securely into place.
  4. Adjust the solar panel to the desired angle for optimal sun exposure.
  5. The angle can be further adjusted by loosening, adjusting, and re-tightening the side screw on the panel's arm.

Option 2: Ground Stake Mount

  1. Assemble the two parts of the ground stake (C).
  2. The grooved section of the stake fits into the protruding arm of the solar panel's mounting base (D).
  3. Insert the assembled stake into the ground.
  4. Attach the solar panel (B) to the mounting base (D) using the small screw (F).
  5. Slide the solar panel onto the stake's arm until it clicks.
  6. Adjust the solar panel angle for optimal sun exposure.

To disconnect the solar panel from the mounting bracket, press the release tab on the bottom of the bracket and slide the panel upwards.

Installing the Solar String Lights

The solar string lights can be mounted in various ways:

  1. Temporary Mounting: Use standard S hooks (not included) or screw hooks (not included) attached to the integrated mounting loops.

  3. Guide Wire Installation: Attach the string lights to a pre-installed guide wire (not included) using S hooks (not included).

Final Connection

  1. Connect the solar panel to the string lights. Insert the plug located after the final bulb into the wire from the solar panel. Tighten the seal over the connection point by screwing it on.

The solar string lights will illuminate for 4-5 hours depending on battery charge level.

Operation

After an initial 3-day charge in the OFF position, the solar string lights are ready for use.

  1. Pull out the plastic tab from the remote control (J) battery to activate it.
  2. Solar Panel Switch:
    • ON: When the solar panel is in the ON position, the bulbs should illuminate.
    • OFF: Turns off the lights and disengages the remote control. Use for storage or long periods of inactivity.
    • AUTO: Automatically turns the lights on at night.
