Planning and Installation Notes
Integration: The rangehood is designed for invisible integration into an upper cabinet.
Filter Replacement: The patented air recirculation module, which includes an activated charcoal filter for high odour reduction, can be easily accessed and changed from the front by pulling out the filter drawer. Ensure the upper cabinet door is fully open to facilitate the filter change process.
Cooktop Compatibility: For Vario cooktops that produce intensive vapours (e.g., VR/VP models), it is recommended to place them centrally beneath the hood. In such cases, air recirculation is not advised.
Clearances:
- For gas cooktops with an output exceeding 39.6 MJ/h, maintain a minimum clearance of 70 cm between the cooktop and the ventilation hood. Consult the specific gas cooktop installation manual for detailed requirements.
- For electric appliances, a minimum clearance of 50 cm is required above the appliance.
Electrical Safety: When installing the rangehood in an air extraction configuration that includes a chimney-vented fireplace, ensure the power supply line of the ventilation appliance is connected to a suitable safety switch.
