Internet Connection on the Move

Internet connection is essential for checking weather, researching locations, and staying in touch with family and friends. While smartphones offer connectivity, coverage and speeds can be unreliable. Maxview Roam provides a solution for seamless internet access, allowing you to enjoy streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, BBC iPlayer, and ITV Hub, even in remote locations.

The Problem: Poor 3G/4G/5G and Wi-Fi Signal on Your Travels?

Internet connection can be disappointing and intermittent during travel. Weak or non-existent 3G/4G/5G signals in remote areas, and congested campsite Wi-Fi can make browsing and streaming difficult.

The Solution: Maxview Roam, a Powerful Mobile 3G/4G/5G and Wi-Fi Solution

The Maxview Roam utilizes a powerful external roof-mounted antenna and an internal router to create a reliable and secure Wi-Fi hotspot for your vehicle. It enhances internet connectivity in two ways:

  1. 3G/4G/5G Signal: The Roam is designed to use mobile data, picking up signals where your phone might not.
  2. Wi-Fi Source: The Roam can also connect to existing Wi-Fi hotspots, saving your SIM card data for when it's needed.

Maxview offers a range of Roam Systems to suit your usage, application, and budget, each including a free Broadband Go 5GB SIM Card, a 2-year guarantee, and full UK customer support. Follow the 4-step guide to identify the perfect system for you.

How does it work?

3G/4G/5G Signal

The primary function is using a Data SIM Card. The Roam Antenna picks up 3G, 4G, and 5G signals, and the Roam Router creates a Wi-Fi hotspot. This works whether the vehicle is static or moving.

Wi-Fi Source

The secondary function is accessing a local Wi-Fi hotspot. The Roam Antenna connects to the hotspot, and the Roam Router creates a Wi-Fi network within the vehicle. This also works whether the vehicle is static or moving.

You can switch between functions using the free Maxview Roam App.

Roam Range - Comparison at a glance

Maxview offers several Roam models to suit various needs:

Roam 5G (Model Code: MXL060)

Roam X (Model Code: MXL051)

Roam (Model Code: MXL050)

Roam 5G Campervan (Model Code: MXL066)

Roam X Campervan (Model Code: MXL057)

Step 1. Choose Your Antenna

Maxview offers three powerful omni-directional antenna types:

Roam Antenna (1) - 4x4 MIMO

Roam Antenna (2) - 2x2 MIMO

Roam Campervan Antenna (3) - 2x2 MIMO

4x4 MIMO vs 2x2 MIMO: The 4x4 MIMO Antenna can increase 4G & 5G speeds by up to 100% compared to a typical 2x2 MIMO antenna, making it ideal for the Roam 5G Router. The 4x4 MIMO Antenna comes with 4 SMA Cables, while the 2x2 MIMO Antenna comes with 2 SMA cables.

Campervan Antenna Type: Designed for campervans and panel vans with a smaller footprint, it fits easily on various roof types and is ideal for pop-top applications. The compact size means it is not available in a 4x4 MIMO option.

Step 2. Choose Your Roof Mounting Method

Maxview offers flexible mounting options:

You can also utilize an existing cable entry point. The aluminium bracket is lightweight, strong, and finished with a durable white, grey, or black powder coating. It includes extension cables for flexible mounting.

The Roam range offers three router types:

Roam 5G Router

Roam X Router

Roam Router

All routers come with a free 5GB Broadband Go SIM Card. The SIM Card is enabled for 5G with selected networks, with more networks to follow late 2023. If 5G coverage is not available, the Roam 5G will connect to a 4G network.

Free App Control: Available via the App Store and Google Play.

Step 4. Choose a SIM Card Package

The Roam models are designed to work with any data service provider. You can use your existing provider or choose a new one, considering coverage for your intended travel and available deals.

Maxview has partnered with Broadband Go to provide a free, multi-network SIM Card. This SIM card connects to the best network provider based on your location, ensuring optimal connectivity. Your 5GB of FREE data is equivalent to approximately 10 hours of TV streaming, 15 hours of video chat, or 100 hours of music.

BroadbandGo Benefits:

Please Note: The Broadband Go SIM Card is provided with no obligation. If you do not wish to use it, simply remove it from your router. There is no commitment to sign up for a Broadband Go package even if you use the 5GB of free data. *UK customers only - subject to change.
