Install the RHOP patch into the Inner barrel. Some reputable brands includes Psionic, Elvish and Silent Sniper that are good for performance and offers many sizes for different barrel brands and models. Alternatively, at this stage you can install a RHOP bucking. Brands like Tru-hop and Maple Leaf Macaron are recommended. D2. Insert the bucking ensure this is a mound less bucking. Brands like Prometheus and Modify offers such buckings. D3. Insert the barrel set up in the Ares Amoeba hop-up chamber. Apply some silicone grease on around the bucking so it can slide in easily. D4. Install the Maxx C-clip. This will keep your inner barrel centered. D1 D2 D3 D4 D5. Install the TDC Bracket onto the hop up chamber www.airtechstudios.com D5 Step by Step Installation Please Follow Each Step Precisely D6. Remove 3M sticker on the top of the Mnub. Next apply silicone grease all around the Mnubs and bottom. D7. Place the M-nub into the hop-up window inside the chamber D6 D7 D8. Apply silicone grease on all the surfaces that will come in contact with each other or the TDC operation. All vertical surfaces should be applied. D8 D9. Orientate the trolley to face the front, you can use the arrow located at the top to find the orientation and insert into the TDC Bracket. Insert Grease & Spring D9 D10. Once installed try using a rod to move the trolley up and down and ensure it can do so easily without much resistance. D10 www.airtechstudios.com Step by Step Installation Please Follow Each Step Precisely D11. From the back of the hop up unit install the Adjustment arm. D11 D12. The adjustment arm will be installed the middle of the TDC trolley as shown in the diagram. D13. Insert the bolt and screw to lock the TDC system. Make sure its firm, but do not over do the tightness. D12 D13 D14. Install the stock adjustment wheel back to the hop up unit. It will control the newly installed hop up arm now. Take a peek down your inner barrel and you should not see any mound protruding from the top. D16. Go back and dial the hop a few clicks. D15 D16 D17. Look down the inner barrel again and you should see the mound protruding out. That means the hop is working. D17 D18. If youre happy with the set up and everything is working, you can superglue/ Loctite the bracket set onto your hop up chamber. Only the lower edges is required. But please don't glue until you are fully happy with the set up! Insert Grease & Spring D18 www.airtechstudios.com PART B MODIFYING THE OUTER BARREL D19. The outer barrel needs to be modified in order for the TDC Converter kit to fit. You will need to remove the outer barrel form the handguard. Depending on which model it is usually straight forward to take out. Some screws on the handguard and a grub screw inside. D20. locate the back part of the outer barrel. The top part is what needs to be modified. See diagram you can see the line we draw at the end of the "U" section. You will need a hacksaw to cut this part off clean. Use a pen or pencil to draw the line on the outer barrel as your guide. D21. Take a hacksaw or cutting tool and cut both ends of that top part of the outer barrel. D19 D20 D21 D20. Ensure you cut on a straight line as much as possible. Insert Grease & Spring D2D D23. Once the both parts are off. Sand down the sharp parts and burs that remain on the metal and smoothen it down. www.airtechstudios.com D23 Step by Step Installation Please Follow Each Step Precisely D24. Take your TDC converter and insert into the outer barrel for testing. D25. See diagram D25 this is what it should look like after the modification process. D26. Top View of successful install. Once completed, installed the outer barrel back into the gun, alongside the handguard and install the new TDC converter kit last. Spend some time on a field day testing various BB brands and weights and which hop setting works best for your setup! Have fun!
