Digital Audio Connections
Connect an optical cable from each of the Digital Audio 1-4 output connectors to the corresponding sound bar or AVR's audio port.
Product Select Buttons
To select products, connect the push-button to the RJ9 port marked Push-Buttons at each position. To enable TV sound, connect a push-button to the RJ9 header port marked TV Button. Compatible push-buttons are available from Audio Authority.
The modular RJ9 plug makes this Easy Plug button a snap to install and reliable for the life of the demonstration system. RJ9 is the same four-conductor format used for most telephone cords, making the harness easy to obtain in any length. The standard 802-807 harness is 1.5m long, with other lengths available upon request. A Model 013-100 Easy Plug button with an illuminated blue ring is shown.
Timeout Interval
All outputs deselect after a period of inactivity (the timeout interval). The timeout interval is set by the Timeout dial, in increments of 15 seconds. If the timeout switch is set to 0, the demonstration does not time out. Each time a customer makes a selection, the timer resets.
Timeout Dial: A circular dial with numbers 0 through 9, labeled 'TIMEOUT DIAL', used to set the demonstration timeout interval.
