Product Description

The Bluetooth MESH (SIG) gateway integrates a highly integrated wireless Wi-Fi module, a low-energy wireless Bluetooth module, and a main board. It enables device addition, reset, third-party control, and Bluetooth (single point & mesh) group control via the Tuya Smart APP, catering to smart home and other applications.

Status Indicator and Reset

Blue LED Indicator:

• Flashing: Device is connecting and allowed to connect to the network.
• Solid On: Device is activated.
• Solid Off: Device is not activated.

Reset Method: Press and hold the reset button [button] for 5 seconds. The blue indicator [LED] will flash several times, indicating a successful reset.

Pairing Process

1. Select a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. Ensure the blue indicator [LED] is flashing for normal pairing.

2. The connection process takes approximately 30-120 seconds, depending on network conditions.

3. Once successfully added, the device will appear on the 'My Home' page in the app.

Smart Bluetooth Fingerbot

Overview

The Fingerbot is a compact robot designed to control various buttons and switches. It allows users to operate existing home appliances with simple robotic clicks, enabling smart home automation.

Examples include switching lights via the app, scheduling morning coffee, activating vacuum cleaners with voice commands, or remotely powering on office PCs.

App Installation

Search for "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" in your mobile application store to install the required app.

Device Resetting

To pair your Fingerbot with a new account, a device reset is necessary. Long-press the reset button [button] for 5 seconds to perform the reset.

Device Pairing

Method One: Scan the QR code [QR Code] for network configuration guidance.

Method Two:

1. Ensure the device has been reset.
2. Confirm your phone is connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth [Bluetooth].
3. Open the Smart Life/Tuya App, tap '+', and follow the on-screen prompts. Tap 'Go to add'.
4. Once the device is added successfully, you can edit its name and tap 'Done' to enter the device page.
5. Open the Bluetooth gateway [Bluetooth Gateway], tap 'Add devices', then 'Associate Bluetooth devices'. Select the Fingerbot and tap 'Add finish'.

Note: Please connect the device according to the configuration process.

Device Power

To power on the device, open the case from the back and remove the battery insulation sheet before first use.

Device Control

Switching: After successful connection, navigate to the 'Device' tab. Tap the Fingerbot's icon to trigger its default action.

Adjusting: Long-press the device button [button] to access the control page for more options, including device mode and arm movement settings.

Note: For optimal performance, allow the device to rest for 30 seconds after performing a click.

Device Installation

1. Clean the surface of the button panel where the Fingerbot will be installed.
2. Attach the Fingerbot to the panel using the provided double-sided tape.
3. Connect your Fingerbot with the App and calibrate the movement of its robotic arm [robotic arm] to align with the button. Set the 'Down Movement' parameter so the arm just presses the button. Improper settings may cause resistance and reduce the device's lifespan.
4. After installation, it is recommended to let the device rest for 24 hours to ensure maximum adhesion.

Battery Change

The Fingerbot uses a replaceable CR2 [battery]. If the arm movement is not as expected, replace the battery. Open the case from the back and ensure the new battery is installed with the correct polarity.

Robotic Arm Extension

The Fingerbot features a modular design with replaceable arms to suit various needs. Three types of arms are available in the Fingerbot ToolPack (sold separately). Free 3D-printing templates for custom arms can be downloaded from www.adaprox.io.
