Important: This document should prepare you for the migration. All images and contents shown in this document are for illustration purpose only and for classified information.
1. Introduction
1.1. Migration Benefits
NXP's migration from DocStore to NXP.com offers users a more cohesive and comprehensive experience when accessing secure files about NXP products. With Secure Access Rights, users can access their secure files using the same NXP account used for public information and other features on NXP.com.
Secure files are also accessible beyond the 'My NXP > Secure Files' section. Files for which you have access can be found on product pages. If you have a URL for secure information, navigate to the relevant product page and look for secure and public files under the documentation and software sections. Product series pages may also feature callouts displaying secure information, allowing users to request higher access.
Users can opt to receive email alerts from NXP.com regarding new or updated secure information.

1.2. Migration Phases
1.2.1. Pre-Migration
Before migrating from DocStore to NXP.com, familiarize yourself with this guide. For questions or concerns, contact DocStore support. Users can continue to sign in using DocStore prior to the official migration.
[Screenshot: The NXP.com login page for DocStore is displayed, featuring fields for Email Address or NXP Company ID and Password, along with 'Sign In', 'Forgot your password?', and 'Register Now' options. A 'Having trouble?' section is also visible.]
[Pop-up Notification: A message informs users that their DocStore content will have a new home on NXP.com, advising them to download the migration guide for more information and to contact support for further questions.]
1.2.2. Migration
During the migration period, users can still sign in to DocStore and will receive reminders about the migration. Alternatively, users can sign in to NXP.com to access their secure files.
After signing in to NXP.com, users are directed to 'My NXP > Secure Files' to find secure information for products they have access to. Refer to section 4 for more details on Secure Files.
[Screenshot: The NXP.com login page is shown again, indicating the ability to sign in to NXP.com to access secure files.]
1.2.3. Post-Migration
Upon completion of the migration, all secure information will be available on NXP.com. Access to DocStore will be discontinued, with attempts redirecting to NXP.com/security/login. Users will be directed to 'My NXP > My Secure Files' after signing in to NXP.com.
[Note: If secure files cannot be accessed on NXP.com, DocStore remains temporarily available during the transition. If a product with secure access rights is not listed, contact DocStore Support to verify account migration.]
2. Profile
The profile page displays personal and contact information provided by the user. Secure access rights information can be modified by clicking 'Edit'.
During the migration, verify that your rights have transferred correctly by navigating to 'My NXP > Profile' and checking the 'Secure Access Rights' section to ensure the account information is accurate.
[Screenshot: The 'Secure Access Rights' section is shown, detailing contact information, company website, and areas of interest, with 'Edit' buttons. A 'List of Products with Granted Access Rights' is also displayed, categorized for easy browsing.]
Once verified, browse products with Secure Access Rights by expanding all sections or clicking individual product categories.
3. Access and Expand Secure Access Rights
After confirming successful migration of information, users can view and edit their secure access rights, and request higher access to secure product information. This can be done through the user's Profile or via a product page.
3.1. Through Your Profile
Navigate to 'My NXP > Profile', scroll to the 'Secure Access Rights' section, and select 'Gain Access Rights' under 'Areas of Interest'.
[Screenshot: The 'Secure Access Rights' section is shown, with an option to 'Gain Access Rights' under 'Areas of Interest'.]
Users can then select product categories for which they wish to request higher or new access rights and provide a reason for the request.
Additionally, users can view secure information by product category under 'My NXP > Profile' in the 'List of Products with Granted Access Rights' section.
[Screenshot: A list of products with granted access rights is displayed, categorized for browsing.]
3.2. Through Product Pages
Secure information is accessible from product series pages on NXP.com. Navigate to specific product pages and find the 'Access Secure Information About Our Products' section, which lists the secure information available.
Under 'Access Granted', click on products to go to their respective pages. To gain further access or higher rights, click 'Request additional access' if available.
On a product page, navigate to the 'Design Resources' section and select 'Secure Files' to find specific product information. Again, click 'Request additional access' for more access or higher rights, if the option is shown.
Users will be prompted to provide justification for gaining higher access to secure information.
[Screenshot: The 'Access Secure Information About Our Products' section lists granted access to 'S32 Microcontrollers' and provides an option to 'Request additional access'.]

4. Secure Files
There are two primary methods to access secure content:
Option 1: My NXP > Secure Files Page
This page allows users to find secure information for all products they have access to. Files can be viewed by product or by individual files.
- View by Product: Secure files are organized by product taxonomy. Users can search by product name and filter by product or application taxonomy.
- View by Files: Users can search and filter files by 'File Type' and 'File Status' (e.g., secure access, requested access, denied access). Sorting by 'Newest/Date' is available.

Option 2: Product Pages
Navigate to a product page, go to the 'Documents and Software' section, and use the 'Secure Files' toggle to find secure information specific to that product.
An added feature is access to previous file revisions. This can be done via 'My NXP > Secure Files' or by navigating to a product page and finding 'Secure Files' under 'Design Resources'.

5. Certificates for Secure Files
5.1. Manage Certificate(s)
This applies if you have previously received an NXP Secure Access Rights certificate. A certificate is provided to decrypt files upon download. It is sent via email and requires download and installation using a password (see section 5.2).
If a certificate is lost, deleted, or expired, a new one can be requested via email. Note that files encrypted with a prior certificate cannot be decrypted with a new one. It is recommended to keep previous certificates installed for continued access.
[Screenshot: A section titled 'Certificates for Secure Files' shows options to request and install certificates.]
5.2. Accessing Passwords for Certificate(s)
A password is required to install certificates from NXP.com. This password can be found in 'My NXP > Profile' under 'Certificates for Secure Files'. If the password is locked, new certificates can be requested.
[Screenshot: The 'Secure Access Rights' section is shown again, with a 'Certificates for Secure Files' area indicating where to find the password.]
To access encrypted files, use the provided password to install the certificates. If the password is lost, new certificates can be requested via email.
6. Account Reactivation
As a security measure, NXP Secure Access Rights users must reactivate their account once every 30 days. Files that were previously unavailable due to reactivation will become accessible on NXP product pages or under 'My NXP > Secure Files' after reactivation.
7. Notifications
NXP.com provides email updates for new or updated files related to products for which you have secure access rights, similar to DocStore.
Users can manage notification preferences under 'My NXP > Notifications'.
[Screenshot: The 'Notifications' preferences page is shown, allowing users to opt-in for email updates about secure product information.]
8. Support
For issues accessing secure information on NXP.com, please contact DocStore support. For general questions or support needs, contact the NXP support team.
