Product Description
This manual provides operating instructions for the Daikin wired remote controller, designed for use with Daikin air conditioning systems. The controller allows users to manage various functions of the air conditioner.
Remote Controller Diagram Description: The wired remote controller features a display area (Seven Segments) that indicates temperature and operating status. It includes control buttons for:
- ON/OFF: To start or stop the air conditioner.
- TIMER: For setting the timer function.
- TEMP: Buttons to adjust the set temperature (indicated by ▲ or ▼ arrows).
- FAN: To select fan speed or mode.
- MODE: To select the operation mode (e.g., COOL, HEAT, DRY, FAN, AUTO).
- SWING: To control the air direction swing function (optional).
- SLEEP: To activate the sleep mode for enhanced comfort during sleep.
Operating Instructions
TEMPERATURE (Seven Segments)
Indicates the ambient temperature set by the user.
MODE
Indicates the selected operating mode: HEAT & DRY / COOL / FAN. The mode is often indicated by an LED color (green / yellow / red).
VENTILATION SPEED
Indicates the selected ventilation speed: LOW / MED / HIGH. Note: Some models (e.g., U1-SB125) may only have a single HIGH speed.
AUTO SELECTION
Automatic selection for fan speed, adjusting automatically based on the room temperature.
FAN AND VENTILATION MODE
Press the fan button to set the desired fan speed or ventilation mode.
OPERATION SELECTION MODE
Press the mode button to select the operation mode. Available modes include COOL, DRY, FAN for cooling units, and AUTO, COOL, DRY, FAN, HEAT for heat pump units. The AUTO mode may not be available for Chilled Water (CW) 2-pipe systems but is available for 4-pipe systems.
TEMPERATURE SETTING
Set the desired temperature using the ▲ or ▼ buttons. The setting range is typically between 16°C to 30°C (60°F to 80°F).
TIMER SWITCH SETTING
Press the set button to activate the timer function. The setting range is between 1 to 10 hours. The unit will operate (ON or OFF) based on the selected mode and timer setting.
"SLEEP" FUNCTION
Press the sleep button to activate the sleep function. This function is not available in FAN or DRY modes. In COOL mode, the set temperature increases by 0.5°C after 30 minutes, another 0.5°C after the next 30 minutes, and 1°C after the following 1 hour. In HEAT mode, the set temperature decreases by 1°C after 30 minutes, another 1°C after the next 30 minutes, and 1°C after the following 1 hour.
"ON/OFF" SWITCH
Press the button once to start the air conditioner unit. Press again to stop the unit.
IR RECEIVER
Receives signals from a remote infrared controller (if applicable).
AUTOMATIC AIR SWING (OPTIONAL)
Press the SWING button to activate the automatic air swing function. To direct airflow to a specific position, press the button, wait for the louver to reach the desired direction, and press the SWING button again to stop the swing.
Error Codes
The following error codes may be displayed on the Seven Segments display:

Notes
- Functions 3, 4, 5, and 12 are not applicable for Roof Top models.
- Function 6 (Dry Mode) is not applicable for Roof Top models.
- Function 12 (Automatic Air Swing) mode is not applicable for ducted models.
