Pool Heat Exchanger
A durable industrial-grade cupro-nickel heat exchanger provides effective heat transfer. Pool water flows through cupro-nickel tubes surrounded by heated boiler water, ensuring efficient heat transfer while keeping the pool water separate from the heat source.
Optional Titanium Pool Heat Exchanger
Lochinvar offers an optional titanium pool heat exchanger, a strong, lightweight alloy highly resistant to corrosion from salt water and chlorine, making it ideal for pool systems.

Fully Modulating Burner
The modulating burner adjusts the input rate to precisely match the pool water's Btu/hr losses. This allows the boiler to operate at lower input rates for longer periods, significantly increasing overall boiler life compared to on/off cycling.
Thermal Efficiency
Constructed with stainless steel modulating condensing boilers, the AQUAS delivers up to 98% thermal efficiency. The system is ideal for low return water temperatures from pools, and the heat exchanger is sized for maximum heat transfer, reducing fuel costs.
Direct Vent with PVC
Installation costs and effort are reduced by using PVC pipe for venting. The AQUAS supports various vent materials (PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene, Stainless Steel) and offers direct venting. By drawing combustion air through a dedicated intake pipe, the system is protected from corrosive pool chemicals.

Outdoor Rated Models (OXN402-802) are sealed and jacketed for protection against the elements, featuring pump covers, air intake covers, and a specialized vent assembly for outdoor installation. Outdoor models use Lochinvar's water tube design heat exchanger.
