WAVLINK ARIEAL HD2 AC600 Outdoor WiFi Extender Setup Guide
AP (LAN Bridge) Mode
This mode allows you to easily turn your wired internet connection into a wireless Wi-Fi network anywhere.
Installation Work Before Setup
- Fix the ARIEAL HD2 – AC600 to the column.
- Use an Ethernet cable. Insert one end into the "POE" port of the POE converter and the other end into the WAN/LAN port of the ARIEAL HD2 – AC600.
- Use another Ethernet cable. Insert the "LAN DATA IN" port of the POE converter at one end and the LAN port of your router at the other end.
- Plug the power connector into the "DC24V" port of the POE converter, then plug the power adapter into an outlet.
- Push the "ON/OFF" button of the POE converter to power on.
Notes:
- Ensure you use a certified CAT5e/CAT6 Ethernet cable with RJ45 connectors.
- The length of the Ethernet cable should be less than 60 meters (196 ft).
Setup by Phone or iPad (iOS and Android mobile platforms)
- Connect to the Wi-Fi signal "WAVLINK-N" or "WAVLINK-AC" in your phone's WLAN settings. No password is required for the initial connection. Once connected to the ARIEAL HD2 – AC600, it might indicate no internet access, which is normal. Continue with the setup process.
- Open a browser on your phone and type either

. - Enter the default password "admin" and click "Login". After logging in, click the "Wizard" option from the bottom.
- In the "AP Wizard" window, select "AP(LAN Bridge)".
- Configure the network settings: Set the 2.4G SSID to "WAVLINK-N" and the 5G SSID to "WAVLINK-AC". Choose a security type (WPA/WPA2 Mix is recommended) and enter your desired password for the network. Click "Apply".
- The ARIEAL HD2 – AC600 will now connect to the target router. The progress bar may take up to two minutes to reach 100%.
- To test the internet connection, connect to the extended SSID (2.4G or 5G): "WAVLINK-N" or "WAVLINK-AC" from your Wi-Fi network list.
Setup by Computer or Laptop
- Disconnect any wired connection from your computer or laptop.
- Turn on your computer or laptop's Wi-Fi if it is off.
- Click the Wi-Fi icon on the taskbar, go to the list of Wi-Fi networks, and connect to the ARIEAL HD2 – AC600's network "WAVLINK-N" or "WAVLINK-AC". No password is required for the initial connection. Once connected, it might indicate no internet access, which is normal. Continue with the setup process.
- Open a web browser on your computer or laptop and type either

Repeater Mode
This mode extends your router's Wi-Fi coverage.

- Connect the router to a POE and plug the POE into a power socket.
- Connect the POE and a router via a network cable.

After logging in, you will see the main interface. Select "Wizard" and choose "Router" mode.
In Router mode, there are three connection options:
- Dynamic IP: Choose this if your router is assigned an automatically configured IP address by a DHCP server.
- Static IP: Select this if you are provided with specific network information like "subnet mask", "IP address", and "Default Gateway".
- PPPoE: Choose this if you are provided with an account name and password by your ISP.
For the security type, select from the drop-down list (WPA/WPA2 Mix is recommended). Enter your Wi-Fi password.
