Häfele Dialock System Requirements

Requirements for the Installation and Operation of Dialock Software CONTROL, HOTEL and PROFESSIONAL

Dialock provides an automated setup program for systems where no components are already installed. For systems with an existing SQL server or requiring special settings, a customized installation can be performed. While a single-user installation on a desktop operating system is possible, it is not recommended due to potential limitations in performance and availability.

Hardware Requirements (Server/Single User Installation)

Note: Hardware requirements may vary based on system size and the number of online terminals used.

Supported Operating Systems (64-bit only)

• Windows Server 2016
• Windows Server 2019
• Windows 10 (2004 or higher)
• Windows 11
• Windows Server 2022

When using Windows 11 / Windows Server 2022, it is essential to adhere to Microsoft's system requirements. Using a mini-PC, laptop, or desktop operating system as a server is not advised, as it may lead to performance and availability restrictions.

Database Requirements

Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Express is included and installed by default. Existing SQL servers are supported, including Microsoft SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2019. Manufacturer specifications (Microsoft) for the SQL database system must be observed.

.NET Framework

Dialock HMS requires .NET 4.8.

Java Compatibility

The software requires a 64-bit JAVA Runtime Environment (JRE) version 11. AdoptOpenJDK 11.0.9.1+1 is installed. Other Java versions may be used in principle.

System Requirements Client

The operator software can be used with the following browsers:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 11
• Microsoft Edge from version 79
• Mozilla Firefox from version 78
• Google Chrome from version 80
• Safari from version 13

Other browsers may function but have not been explicitly tested. A recommended monitor resolution is at least 1680 x 1050 pixels.

For communication with the MDU 110 data transfer unit, a supplied service must be installed on the client PC connected to the MDU 110. This is only possible on a Windows operating system. A USB Type-A connection is required.

Java Compatibility: The software requires a 32-bit JAVA runtime environment, which is also installed.

SSL Certificate: The Dialock software can be installed or configured for HTTP or HTTPS access (default is HTTPS). A certificate is created during installation that may require manual registration depending on the browser used.
