Installation Steps

The installation process involves the following general steps:

1. Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the ceiling using appropriate screws and wall anchors.
2. Electrical Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the household wiring using wire connectors. Ensure all connections are secure.
3. Attaching Fixture: Mount the main body of the light fixture onto the ceiling bracket.
4. Final Assembly: Install the light bulbs and carefully attach the glass shades to the fixture.

• The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by improper installation or use.
• Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician or a person with sufficient knowledge.

Installation Location:

• Consider the intended location: indoor, outdoor, or bathroom. (Refer to IP ratings for suitability in specific environments like bathrooms or outdoors).
• Indoor products are not suitable for humid places unless a higher IP rating permits.
• Do not expose the product to water, other liquids, or flammable materials.
• Always respect the minimum distance indicated on the lamp to flammable products.

Installation Process:

• Ensure cables are not pinched or damaged by sharp edges during installation.
• If the external flexible cable is damaged, it must be replaced exclusively by the manufacturer, their service agent, or a qualified electrician to avoid risks.

Operation and Maintenance:

• The product and bulbs can become very hot; allow them to cool down before touching.
• Always use the correct bulb type and maximum wattage as indicated on the product.

Explanation of Symbols

The following symbols may appear on the fixture and have specific meanings:

• ? Indoor Use: This product is suitable for indoor use only, excluding bathrooms, unless a higher IP rating permits bathroom use.
• ♻️ Waste Collection: Legislation requires separate collection of electrical and electronic equipment for reuse and recycling. This symbol indicates the item must be returned to a municipal waste collection point.
• ? Class I: The product has an earth connection. The earth wire (green-yellow) must be connected to the earth terminal.
• ⬜️ Class II: The product is double insulated and does not require an earth connection.
• ⏚ Class III: The product is suitable for low voltage supply only and does not require an earth connection.
• ?️20 IP20: Protection against contact with a finger.
• ? Protection Glass: If the protection glass is damaged or broken, it must be replaced immediately.
• ?0.5m Minimum Distance: Respect the minimum distance from the bulb to flammable objects (e.g., 0.5m).

Warranty Information

Lucide NV warrants that the supplied products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase by the end user, provided the item is installed and maintained properly as per the user manual.

Exclusions from Warranty:

• Broken glass parts of the fixture will only be replaced within 14 days after purchase by the end user.
• Normal wear and tear, or discoloration resulting from normal use.
• Damage caused by external factors such as fire, water, incorrect use, installation, or maintenance of the product.

For warranty claims, customers must present the defective fixture/part along with the original purchase ticket.
