Important Safety Information and General Instructions

National guidelines concerning official approval of auxiliaries must be observed.

Any alteration or conversion of the tow bar is prohibited and will result in the cancellation of the type approval.

Remove insulating compound or underbody coating from the area around the contact surfaces of the trailer hitch.

The trailer hitch is intended for towing trailers and for attaching load carriers. Any other use is prohibited.

Vehicles equipped with parking assistance systems may experience malfunctions after tow bar installation if components (tow ball, coupling ball) are within the sensor range. Adjust the sensing range or disable the parking assistance system if necessary. For removable or pivoting tow balls, malfunctions are unlikely when the ball is not in the operating position.

The tow bar is a safety-critical part and must be fitted only by qualified companies. Improper assembly may result in a serious accident hazard. The Swedish text of this instruction is binding.

Ensure required clearance is guaranteed as specified in Appendix VII, Diagram 30 of Guideline 94/20/EC.

Observe national guidelines regarding installation approvals.

Ensure correct torque values are applied during installation. For M12 bolts, the specified torque is 83 Nm.

Variations may occur in car models without prior notification. Carefully check that the template provided is correct for your specific car model and tow bar.
