Important:

• Your appliance is provided with a power supply with an integrated transformer (Safety Extra Low Voltage). Do not tamper with any part of it to avoid risk of electric shock. Only use the provided power supply.
• This appliance is suitable for cleaning under running water and use in a bathtub or shower. For safety reasons, it can only be operated cordless. Detach the shaver from the power supply before using it with water.
• Do not use if the appliance, the foil, or the power supply are damaged.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning safe use and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.

Warning: Keep power supply, charging stand, and Clean & Charge Station dry.

Clean & Charge Station: To prevent cleaning fluid from leaking, ensure the station is placed on a flat surface. Do not tip, move suddenly, or transport the station with a cleaning cartridge installed. Keep the cleaning cartridge away from sources of ignition and direct sunlight.

Basic Operating Information

Charging: A full charge takes 1 hour and provides up to 60 minutes of cordless shaving time. Recommended ambient temperature for charging is 5°C to 35°C.

Display: The display provides information on battery status, cleaning indicators, and travel lock status.

Usage

Tips for a perfect shave:

• Position the shaver at a 90° angle to your skin.
• Gently stretch your skin.
• Shave against the direction of your beard growth.

Multi Head Lock switch: The shaver head can be locked in five positions for shaving hard-to-reach areas.

Precision trimmer: Use to trim sideburns, moustache, or beard.

Travel lock: Press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds to lock/unlock the shaver.

Cleaning

Cleaning under running water: Rinse the shaver head under hot running water until all residues are removed. Liquid soap without abrasive substances can be used. After cleaning, remove the Foil & Cutter cassette and let it dry.

Cleaning with a brush: Use the provided brush to clean the inner area of the pivoting head. Do not clean the cassette with the brush.

Clean & Charge Station: This station cleans, charges, lubricates, disinfects, dries, and stores your Braun shaver.

• Installation: Remove protective foil, press lift button, insert cleaning cartridge, connect power supply.
• Usage: Ensure shaver is dry. Insert shaver into the station. The station analyzes hygiene status and selects a cleaning program (short, normal, or intensive).
• Charging: Charging starts automatically when the shaver is inserted properly.

Maintenance

Foil & Cutter cassette replacement: Replace every 18 months for optimal performance. The replacement indicator will signal when it's time.

Cleaning Cartridge replacement: Replace approximately every 4 weeks with daily use, or every 8 weeks if not used daily.

Troubleshooting

Shaver does not start: Check travel lock, ensure it is unplugged from power.

Charging issues: Check ambient temperature (5°C-35°C), ensure power supply is connected correctly, and shaver is properly placed in the station.

Unpleasant smell: Clean shaver head with hot water and liquid soap, or replace cleaning cartridge.

Reduced battery performance: Renew Foil & Cutter cassette, or lubricate regularly if cleaning with water.

Reduced shaving performance: Renew Foil & Cutter cassette, or soak in hot water with dish liquid and lubricate.

Shaver head is damp: Ensure drying process is complete, or clean the drain of the Clean & Charge station.

Cleaning does not start: Ensure shaver is correctly placed, cleaning cartridge has sufficient fluid, or press start button twice if in standby mode.

Increased cleaning fluid consumption: Clean the drain of the Clean & Charge station.

Guarantee

Braun offers a 2-year guarantee on the product from the date of purchase. This covers defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover damage from improper use, normal wear and tear, unauthorized repairs, or non-genuine parts.
