2. Hardware Description
The device features a GPS/POWER/GSM status light indicator.

3. Terminal Installation
- Please ask a qualified engineer to install it.
- The installation environment should ensure that the GSM and GPS signals are good.
- Please do not install it in a dusty and humid environment.
- Find the 12PIN wiring harness provided with the product, insert it into the corresponding wiring hole of the product, and connect to the original car circuit as shown in the following Wiring Diagram.
Wiring Diagram Description:
- Black wire: (-) Power
- Violet wire: SOS
- Green wire: (+) Door trigger
- Red wire: 3A fuse, (+) Power
- Blue wire: (-) Door trigger
- White wire: ACC
- Orange wire: MIC
- Pink wire: Alarm siren
- Brown wire: Fuel sensor (0-5v)
- White with black wire: Oil and power cut
- Yellow wire: To engine side
- Red wire (connected to engine side): (+) Car power
- Yellow wire (connected to pump side): To pump side
- Fuel pump: Connected to the car engine & oil line.
- The pink wire can be connected to the original car alarm horn or an alarm horn purchased separately.
- Understand that the vehicle door trigger type is positive trigger or negative trigger. Connect to the green wire if it is a positive trigger, and to the blue wire if it is a negative trigger.
- Please install the SOS button where the driver can touch it.
- SIM card installation: Please use the included screwdriver to open the case to insert the SIM card. If you intend to expand storage space, insert a micro SD card and then assemble the case. Ensure the SIM card's network frequency band is supported by the device. Caller ID must be turned on, the PIN code must be turned off, and call forwarding function cannot be turned on.

- After inserting the SIM card, connect the positive and negative (red and black) wires of the power supply to the 12V or 24V power supply of the car. Wait for the device to work normally after 1 minute of power-on, and then turn on the Backup battery switch.
4. Device Status Light
- Red light: Always on when charging; turns off after being fully charged. Flashes quickly when the battery is low.
- Green light: Flashes every 1 second when GSM network signal is normal. Flashes every 3 seconds when working in GPRS mode. Always on when there is no GSM network.
- Blue light: Flashes every 1 second when GPS signal is normal. Flashes 3 times per second when the GPS signal is very good (at least 4 satellites with a signal-to-noise ratio of more than 38). Turns off if the GPS fix is lost.
5. Mobile APP
Scan the QR code to download the APP.

Search for "BAANOOL IOT" on Google Play, App Store, or Baidu App Store to download the application.
Register: Open BAANOOL IOT, register a new account and login. Choose "BAANOOL car" to enter the application.
Bind Device: Click "Me" > "Device Management" > "Add", then scan the QR CODE on the device or enter the IMEI manually to bind the device.

6. BAANOOL IOT's Web Version
Open www.baanooliot.com. The login account name and password are the same as the phone app's.

7. GPRS Configuration for Live Real-Time Tracking
Set APN, Account user name, and password to log in to the web platform.
Usually, the device can automatically recognize and select the APN, user name, and password of GPRS settings. If the device cannot connect to the web platform, use mobile phone text messages to configure the settings according to the following steps.
Attention: When reading this user manual, note that "+" between words means they should be written together as one word, and a space between words means you should leave one character space.
7.1 APN Setting
APN is an abbreviation for Access Point Name and changes depending on your mobile network. For more information about your local APN, please check with your local wireless carrier.

Note: 123456 is the default password; please change the password on the APP or refer to section 8.1.
7.2 Configure User Name and Password of GPRS
In most countries, the user name and password of GPRS are not necessary. Ignore this step if it is not required for your local network.
For countries requiring user name and password, please configure as follows:

Note: 123456 is the device password, Jonnes is the GPRS username, and 666666 is the GPRS password.
7.3 Configure Domain Name and Port
The tracker connects to tracker.baanooliot.com:8090
by default. If you need to connect to another domain name, please configure it.

Note: If you want to configure an IP address instead of DNS, send the SMS command: "adminip+password+space+IP+space+port"
7.4 GPRS Mode

8. Function Details
The following setting functions can be configured through the APP or web version.
8.1 Changing Password
- SMS command:

- Note: Be sure to keep the new password in mind. You will need to flash the firmware to restore the initialized settings if you lose the new password.
- Attention: Ensure the new password consists of 6 Arabic digits; otherwise, the tracker cannot recognize it.
8.2 Authorization
Up to 5 numbers can be authorized.
- 8.2.1 Automatic Authorization: Call the tracker 10 times in succession; the number will be automatically authorized as the first number, and the tracker will respond "add master ok".

- 8.2.4 International Format Authorization: To receive notification alerts when the tracker moves to another country, you must include the country code before the phone number. If your phone number starts with "0", remove it. For example:

8.3 Single Tracking
- 8.3.1 Call Response: If no authorized numbers are set up, it will reply to all calls with a location report. If authorized numbers are set up, it will not respond to calls from unauthorized numbers.
- 8.3.2 Real-time Location Report: If you call from an authorized phone number, it will hang up and report a real-time location.

When the device loses GPS fix, the message will include the last known GPS position and a LAC code of the updated position.
- 8.3.3 SMS Command:

8.4 Sleep Tracking Strategy
8.4.1 Sleep Off Timing Tracking Strategy:

- Description: No sleep mode (GPRS is always online). Updates position every 30s when moving, and every 30 minutes when motionless.

8.4.2 Sleep Off Timing and Distance Tracking Strategy:

- Description: No sleep mode (GPRS is always online). Updates position every 30 minutes when moving, and every 200 meters when motionless.

8.4.3 Sleep On Timing Tracking Strategy:

- Description: Sleep mode (GPRS offline when device is stopped, in motion, or an alarm is triggered). Reports position every 30 seconds when moving, and every 1 hour when stopped.

8.4.4 Sleep On Timing and Distance Tracking Strategy:

- Description: Sleep mode (GPRS offline when device is stopped, in motion, or an alarm is triggered). Reports every 1 hour when stopped. When the device moves 200 meters, it reports.

8.5 Smart Angle Updating
- 8.5.1 Functionality: Updates positions automatically to the web platform when the vehicle changes direction by a preset angle, making the trace follow the road better. Only available in GPRS mode.
- 8.5.2 SMS command:

- Note: The angle value must be 3 Arabic digits; the default is 30 degrees.
8.6 Location Based Service (LBS) / Cell-ID Tracking
If the tracker cannot establish a solid GPS fix, it will calculate its location using Cell-ID GSM locating. In SMS mode, location reports include GPS coordinates of the last known positions and a LAC code. In GPRS mode, the tracker automatically switches to LBS tracking and locates directly on the platform map. Base station positioning information may have an error related to GSM signal strength.
Note: This function generally works well in most areas based on GSM signal conditions but may not be available everywhere.
8.7 Listen
- 8.7.1 Default Mode: Track mode. Dial the device to get a position report.

8.8 Forwarding Incoming SMS Messages

It is recommended to set up the carrier's number for sending notification messages. The tracker will forward these messages to authorized numbers to remind you to top up your SIM card.

8.9 SIM Card Balance Enquiry
- SMS command:

- Tracker response: Forwards the code to the specified phone number and returns the content from that number.
This function assumes your GSM network provider allows checking SIM card balance via SMS to a specified number (e.g., 10086 for China Mobile).

8.10 ACC ON/OFF Alert
This function is OFF by default.

If the tracker detects an "ignition on" signal from the ACC wire (white wire), it will send "ACC on+latitude& longitude" to the authorized number. When it detects an "ignition off" signal, it will send "ACC off+ latitude & longitude" to indicate the vehicle has stopped.

Notifications can only be activated or deactivated via SMS to authorized phone numbers. Notifications to the web platform cannot be deactivated and will always send automatically.
8.11 Remote Immobilizing

When receiving the STOP command, the tracker checks the speed. It will execute after the speed is less than 20KM/H. If the speed is higher, it will delay execution until the speed is less than 20KM/H.

8.12 Fuel Sensor Calibrating
To accurately read fuel percentage, the tracker needs to calibrate 0% and full values based on fuel tank height and specifications.

You can connect the vehicle's original voltage-type fuel sensor (0-5V range). If the original sensor is not compatible, an external voltage-type fuel sensor is the solution.
8.13 Configure Times of Alarm
The number of times SOS, power, oil, door, and ACC alarms send can be set. Default is once.

8.14 Alarms
8.14.1 Low Battery Alarm
Activated by default. When battery voltage is near 3.55V, the tracker sends "low battery + latitude & longitude" to authorized numbers twice at 15-minute intervals.

8.14.2 Power Disconnection Alarm

8.14.3 Blind Area Alarm

8.14.4 SOS Alarm
Press the SOS button for 3 seconds (For model G, press the [key] on the remote control). The tracker will send an SMS notification "Help me+latitude& longitude" to all authorized numbers. The siren will not sound.
8.14.5 Geo-fence
The Geo-fence feature creates a virtual fence. When the tracker moves out of this fence, an SMS notification "stockade!+latitude &longitude" is sent to authorized numbers in SMS mode. In GPRS mode, the Geo-fence alarm is sent to the Web.

8.14.6 Movement Alarm
When the device stays in one place for 3-10 minutes with a GPS signal, you can send the SMS command "move+password+space+0200"
(assuming a range of 200 meters). The device will reply "move ok!". Once out of range, it will reply "move + latitude and longitude" to the authorized number. (Default distance is 200 meters.)

8.14.7 Over Speed Alarm
Send SMS command "speed+password+space+080"
(for 80km/h). The device will reply "speed ok!". When running over 80km/h, it sends " speed+080!+latitude and longitude" to the authorization number. In SMS mode, it sends one text message within 3 minutes. In GPRS mode, it sends once within 3 seconds. The siren sounds for one second when speeding.

Note: Recommended speed should not be less than 30km/h. Setting it lower may cause false alarms due to GPS inaccuracy.
8.14.8 Fuel Alarm
When fuel consumption exceeds the normal standard while running, or if there is fuel leakage/stealing when stopped, the tracker sends "oil: ××%+latitude & longitude
" to authorized numbers. The siren beeps for 20 seconds.

8.16 Arming
8.16.1 Arming by SMS
- Command:

- Response: Tracker is activated, vehicle terminal enters armed state. If the vehicle is in the ignition state (key not pulled), it cannot enter the armed state and will reply "set up fail! pls turn off ACC".
8.16.2 Arming with Remote Controller (For G model)
Press the [key] for 0.5 seconds; the car enters arming state and the siren beeps once. No SMS is sent. If the vehicle is in the ignition state (key not pulled), it cannot enter the armed state, and the siren doesn't sound.
8.17 Silent Arming
8.17.1 Silent Arming by SMS

, the terminal enters silent arming state. After an alarm is triggered, the siren does not sound, but an alarm text message is sent to the authorized number.
8.17.2 Silent Arming with Remote Controller (For G model)
Press the [key] for 0.5 second in disarm state; the siren beeps once, and the vehicle enters silent arming state. After an alarm is triggered, the siren does not operate, but an alarm text message is sent to the authorized number. To exit, press the [disarm] [key].
8.18 Disarming
8.18.1 Disarming by SMS

After disarming, the door, shock sensor, and ACC alarms will be deactivated and won't be triggered.
8.18.2 Disarming with Remote Controller (For G model)
Press the [key] for 0.5 second; the tracker enters disarming state, and the siren beeps twice.
8.19 Alarm Function in Arming State
8.19.1 Door Opening Alarm
When the door is opened in arming state, the tracker sends SMS notification "Door alarm+latitude & longitude" to authorized numbers. The siren beeps for 20 seconds. If the door remains open, the siren beeps for another 20 seconds with a 20-second pause. Disarming quits the alarm.
8.19.2 ACC Alarm
The tracker sends "ACC alarm + latitude / longitude" to authorized numbers if the vehicle ignition is switched "ON" (key rotated to "ACC ON" position while the tracker is in arming state). The siren beeps for 20 seconds. If the ignition remains on, the siren beeps for another 20 seconds with a 20-second pause. Disarming quiets the alarm.
The app also receives alarm messages simultaneously.
8.19.3 Acceleration Sensor Alarm
8.19.3.1 Functionality: A built-in three-axis acceleration sensor detects movement, tilt, and shock when in arming state. The tracker sends "Sensor alarm + latitude / longitude" to authorized numbers, once every 3 minutes. The siren beeps for 5 seconds for the first and second triggers, and 10 seconds for subsequent triggers. The app receives alarm messages simultaneously. Disarming quits the alarm.

8.22 Local Time Setting
The tracker operates in the local time zone by default. If the time zone is incorrect, you can configure it.

8.24 Configure Parameters by USB
Connect the tracker to a computer using the USB cable and open the configuration file (e.g., user_config.ini
) with a text editor. Manually change parameters and settings according to the tips.
Note: You must enter the correct password of the tracker in the old password field every time you change settings; otherwise, the changes will not be successful.
8.25 Activate Fuel Value in GPRS
GPRS data strings do not include fuel value by default. To include it, configure as follows:

Note: By default, the tracker connects to www.baanooliot.com:8090
with fuel value enabled, so this step is usually not necessary. If using another IP or domain name, use this command to activate the fuel value.
8.26 TCP / UDP Switch

8.27 SMS Mode
Switching to SMS mode disconnects the GPRS connection for live tracking.

8.28 Configure SMS Monitoring Center Number

The default heartbeat interval to keep the GPRS connection alive is 100 seconds. You can change it if necessary. A too-long interval may cause GPRS disconnection.

Note: (123456 is the tracker's password, 120 is the interval in seconds.) The minimum interval is 60 seconds. The tracker will continue to send heartbeats every 60 seconds if a value less than 60 is configured.
8.30 Initialization
If the tracker is not working properly, you can send a command to initialize it to return to default factory settings.

10. Cautions
Please be sure to follow these guidelines when using the device:
- Keep the tracker in a dry environment. Humid conditions can easily damage internal circuits.
- Do not place it in a dusty environment.
- Do not expose the tracker to overheated or overcooled places.
- Handle carefully. Do not vibrate or shake it violently.
- Clean with a dry cloth; do not use chemicals and detergents.
- Do not paint the device, as this may lead to internal circuit failure.
- Do not disassemble the device.
- Please read the user manual carefully before installation and operation, and understand the voltage range. Otherwise, it may not work properly or could damage the tracker.
