Safety Precautions and Installation Requirements

General Safety:

Ensure adequate ventilation during operation.
Maintain a minimum clearance of 650 mm above the cooking surface (hob).
Ensure a 90° angle for proper installation and safety.
The mounting structure must support a minimum weight of 80 KG 💾.
Wear protective gloves 🦁 during installation.
Installation requires multiple people; at least five people are recommended for safe handling (🕶 🕶 🕶 🕶 🕶 OK!).

The extractor hood has the following approximate dimensions:

Width: 587 mm
Main body depth: 240 mm
Adjustable height range: Minimum 200 mm to Maximum 1000 mm.

Installation Guidelines

Correct Installation: Diagrams indicate proper alignment and placement with a thumbs-up icon (👍).

Incorrect Installation: Improper positioning or clearance is indicated by a thumbs-down icon (👎) and a cross mark (✕).

Mounting Procedure

Steps 1-3: Initial Mounting

Step 1: Attach component F3 to the mounting bracket.
Step 2: Position the main unit and attach the mounting bracket to the ceiling or support structure.
Step 3: Secure the unit using screws K with washers B and C, ensuring a firm connection (OK! ✔).

Steps 4-5: Securing to Structure

Step 4: Insert ten (10x) screws labeled 'L' into the designated holes on the mounting plate.
Step 5: Drill holes using a 10mm drill bit (🔬). Insert wall plugs 'I' (10x) and then secure with screws 'L' (10x).

Steps 6-7: Cable Management

Step 6: Guide the necessary cables upwards through the mounting points (4x).
Step 7: Connect the cable 'F' to the appropriate terminal.

Steps 8-9: Suspension

Step 8: Continue securing the unit with the suspension rods/cables.
Step 9: Finalize the suspension of the main body.

Step 10: Lifting and Positioning

Step 10: With the assistance of multiple people, carefully lift and position the extractor hood. Ensure the minimum clearance of 650mm from the hob is maintained.

Steps 11-12: Final Securing

Step 11: Continue guiding the suspension cables upwards.
Step 12: Secure the cables at the top mounting points (4x).

Step 13: Attachment Verification

Step 13: Ensure the unit is securely attached to the ceiling or support. Reiterate safety distance: minimum 650mm from hob, 90° angle. Correct attachment is indicated by a thumbs-up (👍); incorrect attachment by a thumbs-down (👎) and a warning symbol (⚠).

Step 14: Electrical Connection and Leveling

Step 14: Connect the electrical wiring (Step 1: connect, Step 2: secure). Ensure the unit is perfectly level (0.0° 🔴).

Step 15: Main Body Securing

Step 15: Secure the main body of the extractor hood at multiple points (4x).
Cable Management: Trim excess cable length if necessary (✂), or leave sufficient slack.

Filter Installation

The extractor hood requires filters (W) for operation. Follow these steps for installation:

Steps 18-20: Filter Insertion

Step 18: Install the filter 'W' (2x) into the designated slots. Secure using the provided mechanism (Step 1: insert, Step 2: lock).
Step 19: Install the second filter 'W' (2x).
Step 20: Install the third filter 'W' (2x).

Filter Installation Details (a-e)

a: Loosen or remove a securing screw.
b: Insert filter 'W' (2x).
c: Insert filter 'W' (2x).
d: Insert filter 'W' (2x).
e: Insert filter 'W' (2x).

Final Assembly

Attach any final covers or panels as required. Secure using component 'Z' if applicable.
