Installation Steps

Step 1: Nipple Installation

Install a 1/2" NPT male threaded nipple. Ensure it extends 5/8" to 7/8" (16 - 22 mm) beyond the finished wall surface.

Wrap the threads of the nipple with plumber's tape.

Cleaning Recommendations

Warranty Coverage Period:

• Original Consumer Purchasers: Warranty lasts as long as the original consumer owns the product and the home in which it was installed.
• Commercial Purchasers: One (1) year for hansgrohe products; five (5) years for AXOR products, from the date of purchase.
• Specific Finishes (Rubbed Bronze, Matte Black, Matte White): Three (3) years from the date of purchase.
• This warranty is non-transferable.

Hansgrohe's Obligation:

Hansgrohe, Inc. will, at its discretion, replace or repair any product or part found to be defective in material or workmanship under normal installation, use, service, and maintenance. If repair or replacement is not feasible, Hansgrohe, Inc. may refund the purchase price upon return of the defective product. Repair or replacement (or refund) is the purchaser's exclusive remedy.

Exclusions from Warranty:

• Products purchased from unauthorized sellers.
• Labor and expenses associated with disconnection, deinstallation, shipping, installation, or reinstallation.
• Damage caused by:
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Outdoor use.
  • Misuse or use for unintended applications.
  • Freezing water.

  • Pipe corrosion within the home.
  • Abuse, neglect, or improper installation, maintenance, or repair.
  • Use of abrasive, caustic, or "no-rinse" cleaning agents.
• Accessories, connected materials, or products not manufactured by Hansgrohe, Inc.
• Products sold for display purposes.

Warranty Limitations:

Incidental and Consequential Damages: Hansgrohe, Inc. is not liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages (including labor costs for repair, replacement, installation, or removal) arising from any warranty breach, contract breach, tort, or other cause. This exclusion applies even if Hansgrohe, Inc. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
