Tools Required
The following tools are typically needed for installation:
- Caulking gun for applying sealant.
- Adjustable wrench (e.g., 1-inch size).
- Plumber's tape for thread sealing.

Installation Steps
Step 1: Nipple Installation
Install a 1/2" NPT male threaded nipple. Ensure it extends 5/8" to 7/8" (16 - 22 mm) beyond the finished wall surface.
Apply waterproof sealant around the nipple where it meets the wall. ⚠️ Failure to properly seal the wall can lead to water damage.
Wrap the threads of the nipple with plumber's tape.

Cleaning Recommendations
Hansgrohe products are crafted from diverse materials to meet market demands for design and functionality. Proper care is crucial to prevent damage.
For Best Results:
- Regularly clean to prevent the buildup of mineral scale and soap residue.
- Always select cleaning agents specifically designed for the product type.
- Avoid the following types of cleaners, as they can cause damage:
- Agents containing hydrochloric acid, formic acid, lye, or acetic acid.
- Abrasive cleaning powders, pads, or brushes.
- Steam cleaners.
- "No rinse" cleaning agents.
- Adhere strictly to the cleaning agent manufacturer's instructions.
- Do not mix cleaning agents unless explicitly instructed by the manufacturer.
- When using spray cleaners, apply the cleaner to a soft cloth or sponge first, rather than spraying directly onto the product. This prevents drops from entering openings and causing damage.
- After cleaning, rinse the product thoroughly with clean water and polish dry with a soft cloth.
Important Cleaning Notes:
- Residues from personal care products (soaps, shampoos, hair dyes, perfumes, etc.) can cause deterioration. Rinse the product with clean water after each use.
- Residues from bathroom or tile cleaners can damage faucets and fittings. Immediately rinse any overspray from the Hansgrohe product.
- Do not store cleaning agents or chemicals under the product (e.g., in a vanity unit), as escaping fumes may cause damage.
- Damage resulting from improper care or the use of unsuitable cleaning agents is not covered by the warranty.
- If any component of the product is damaged, replace it immediately to prevent potential injury.
