Charging Your Speaker
The speaker requires approximately 4 hours for a full charge. The red LED indicator flashes while charging and remains solid when fully charged.
- Via AC Adapter/Wall Charger: Connect the speaker's Micro USB port to the AC adapter's USB port using the provided Micro USB cable.
- Via Computer: Connect the speaker's Micro USB port to a computer or laptop's USB port using the provided Micro USB cable.
Pairing the Speaker to a Bluetooth Device
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
- Keep the distance between your device and the speaker within 3 feet for pairing.
- Turn on the speaker by pressing the Power Button for 3 seconds. A tone will sound, and the unit will enter pairing mode.
- On your mobile device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "Tommy Speaker 103" from the list.
- Once paired, the devices will remember each other for future use. If no device is connected within 10 minutes, the speaker will automatically turn off.
Speaker Controls
- ON/OFF: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn the unit ON or OFF. The unit will auto-turn off if inactive for 10 minutes.
- Music Control:
- Go to next song: Press and hold the button.
- Go to previous song: Press and hold the button.
- Play/Pause: Press the button.
- Volume Control:
- Volume Up: Press the button.
- Volume Down: Press the button.
- Calls:
- Answer/Hang Up Call: Press the button.
- Refuse Call: Press and hold the button for 2 seconds.
- Redial Last Number: Double press the button.
Changing Modes
Your speaker is equipped with an FM receiver. Press the button to switch between Bluetooth and FM modes. A tone will indicate the current mode.
- FM Radio: Press the button to auto-search for radio channels. Press the button again to stay on the current channel. Leaving the Micro USB charging cable plugged in will enhance FM signals as it acts as an antenna.
- Next Station: Press and hold the button.
- Previous Station: Press and hold the button.
AUX Mode
Use the included 3.5mm audio cable to connect the speaker to an audio source (MP3/MP4 player, mobile phone, computer). The speaker will play music from the connected audio source.
Charging a Device from the Speaker (Powerbank Function)
Your speaker can also function as a powerbank. Connect your device to the USB powerbank port on the speaker using your device's charging cord (not included). Your device will begin charging automatically.
Important Safeguards
- Keep the speaker away from heat sources.
- Adjust volume to a suitable level to avoid hearing damage or unit damage.
- If not using the speaker for an extended period, charge the internal battery once every three months to extend its lifespan.
