3.1 Front Panel
The front panel features the following controls:

3.3 Microphone
The microphone has the following controls:
- PTT (Push-to-Talk)
- UP / DOWN buttons
- PF (User defined) button
- 6-Pin Connector with pins for: MIC, EXT.AF, PTT, MIC.KEY, GND, +DC.
- Microphone cable.
4. MODIFY MENU
To modify the PF key function:
- Long press the [PF] key on the microphone to enter the function menu.
- Rotate the channel switch or press the [UP/DN] key on the microphone to select the desired PF key function.
- Short press the [PUSH] key to enter the settings, and rotate the channel switch to select the custom [PF] key function.
- Press any other key or wait for 5 seconds to save and exit the settings.

5. BASIC OPERATION
5.1 Power on and off
To power on, rotate the [VOL/OFF] knob clockwise. To power off, rotate the [VOL/OFF] knob counterclockwise until it clicks.
5.2 Volume Adjusting
Rotate the VOL knob to adjust the volume. Clockwise increases volume, counterclockwise decreases it.
5.3 Channel Selection
In channel mode, rotate the channel knob to select channels. Clockwise increases the channel number, counterclockwise decreases it.
5.4 Squelch Adjustment
Short press [SQ/ASQ] to display "SQ". Rotate the [SQ/ASQ] knob to adjust the mute level. Higher values mean deeper mute levels.
5.5 Automatic Noise Reduction Adjustment
Short press [SQ/ASQ] to display "ASQ". Rotate the [SQ/ASQ] knob to adjust the automatic mute level. Higher values mean deeper mute levels.
5.6 [NRC]
- Short press the NRC button to toggle NRC reception function (displays RNR on LCD).
- Press PTT + NRC to toggle NRC emission function (displays TNR on LCD).
- Press and hold NRC to enter NRC function menu for reception and transmission levels (1-5).
5.7 [DIM/COLOR]
- Short press the DIM button to adjust backlight brightness (6 levels).
- Press PUSH + DIM to select backlight color.
5.8 [RFG/HI-CUT]
- Short press RFG to adjust receiving gain using the channel switch or UP/DN buttons. Higher values mean higher attenuation. 'RF MAX' indicates no attenuation. 'RF AU' indicates automatic gain is enabled.
- Press FUNC + RFG to toggle the HI-CUT function.
5.9 [MODE/NB/VOX]
- Short press MODE to switch between AM/FM modulation modes.
- Press FUNC + MODE to toggle the NB function.
- Press PTT + MODE to toggle the VOX function.
5.10 [ECHO/RB]
- Short press ECHO to toggle the ECHO function.
- Press FUNC + ECHO to enter the RB function menu and select the desired RB sound.
5.11 [DW/SCAN]
- Short press DW to toggle the DW function. Select the first channel, then the second channel, and press DW again to start scanning.
- Press FUNC + DW to activate scanning; press any key to exit.
- Long press DW to enter scanning settings: SKIP (add/remove channels), MODE (SQ for quiet scanning, 5S/10S/15S for time scanning), RANGE (set channel/BAND scanning range or VFO frequency range).
5.12 [FRQ/BAND]
- Short press FRQ to switch frequency or channel number display.
- Press FUNC + FRQ to enter BAND switching. Select the desired BAND and press any key to exit.
5.13 [SET/TSQ]
- Short press SET to enter the function menu. Navigate with the channel switch or UP/DN buttons. Press PUSH to enter settings. Press EXIT to save and exit.
- Press FUNC + SET to enter CTCSS/DCS menu settings. Press EXIT to exit.
5.14 [EXIT/LOCK]
- Press EXIT to toggle clock/date/voltage display mode.
- Press FUNC + EXIT to toggle the button lock function (displays "lock button" icon).
5.15 [MEM]
- Short press MEM to enter storage channel mode. Select channel with channel switch or UP/DN buttons. Short press again to exit.
- Long press MEM to save a storage channel. Select desired channel, long press MEM, select channel to save (MEM01-MEM99), and long press MEM again to save.
5.16 [EMG]
Short press [EMG] to access emergency channels:
- Press once for CH9.
- Press twice for CH19.
- Press three times to return to the normal channel.
5.17 [PLAY]
- Short press PLAY to enter the recording playback menu. Select recording list with channel switch or UP/DN buttons. Press REC to play. Press PLAY to stop playback.
- Long press PLAY to enter the launch recording menu.
Recording launch menu options:
- AUTO PLAY: Turn on/off automatic transmission of recording information.
- PLAYLIST: Select recording to transmit. Displays NULL if no recordings.
- TIME: Set automatic transmission recording time (5-minute steps, up to 120 minutes).
5.18 [REC]
- Short press REC to enter the recording menu. Select recording list with channel switch or UP/DN buttons.
- Press REC again, then PTT to start recording. Release PTT to stop. Press PLAY to play the current recording.
- If recording information exists, short press REC prompts DELETE?. Press PUSH to delete.
5.19 Clock Settings
To enter clock settings: In shutdown state, hold SET and power on. Short press PUSH to cycle through year, month, day, hour, minute, second. Rotate channel switch to modify values. Press EXIT to save and exit.
Screen saver settings: POWER OFF menu allows display settings after shutdown. If set to ON, the radio enters screen saver mode when powered off.
5.20 Clock Settings (Alarm)
To enter alarm mode: In shutdown state, hold DIM and power on. Set alarm time, minute, and enable/disable alarm. Set alarm interval. Rotate channel switch to modify values. Press EXIT to save and exit.
Note: If no key is pressed when the alarm rings, it will ring for 30 seconds and stop. If repeat alarm is set, it will ring again after the specified time. Pressing any key during ringing stops the alarm.
6. MENU
Access the menu by short pressing the SET key. Navigate with the channel switch or UP/DN buttons. Press PUSH to enter settings. Press EXIT to save and exit.
