Outdoor Router
Powering Your Router
Select a method to power your outdoor router based on your accessories. Outdoor routers can be powered via a power adapter, a passive PoE adapter, or a PSE device (like a PoE switch) compliant with IEC 62368-1 Power Source Class 2 (PS2) or Limited Power Source (LPS).
Powering Options:
- Via PoE Switch: Connect the router to a PoE switch using an Ethernet cable.
- Via PoE Adapter: Connect the router to a PoE adapter using an Ethernet cable.
- Via Power Adapter (for specific models): Connect the router to a power adapter. [Note] Power adapter is not supplied by TP-Link for all models.
Refer to the diagrams for visual representation of these connections.
