Maintenance
Cleaning and Care
Warning! Before performing maintenance, unplug the machine and close the tap.
Proper maintenance extends the washing machine's working life. Clean the surface with diluted non-abrasive neutral detergents. Wipe off any water overflow immediately with a wet cloth. Do not place sharp items on or in the machine.
Note: Formic acid, diluted solvents, alcohol solvents, or chemical products are forbidden.
Cleaning the Filters
Note: Clean the inlet filter if water flow is not efficient.
Inlet Filters:
- Unscrew the inlet hose from the back of the machine.
- Pull out the filter with long-nose pliers and clean with a brush.
- Reinstall the filter and reconnect the inlet hose.
- Reconnect the inlet pipe.
Lint Filter:
- There is a built-in lint filter that collects lint during the washing cycle.
- Clean the lint filter every 10 cycles.
- Take it out, clean with water, and place it back into the machine.
Cleaning the Drain Pump Filter
Only applicable to certain models.
Warning!
- Be careful of hot water!
- Allow detergent solution to cool down.
- Unplug the machine to avoid electric shock before cleaning.
- The drain pump filter traps lint and small foreign objects.
- Clean the filter periodically to ensure normal operation.
- Drain water from the pump into a container.
- Open the filter by turning counter-clockwise. Remove any foreign objects.
- Clean the filters.
- Re-insert the filter.
- Tighten the pump cover clockwise.
Caution! Ensure the valve cap and emergency drain hose are reinstalled properly. Some machines may not have an emergency drain hose, in which case steps 2 and 3 can be skipped. Rotate the lower cover cap directly to allow water to run into a basin.
Troubleshooting
If the machine does not turn on or stops during operation, refer to the table below. Contact the service provider if a solution cannot be found.
Fault | Possible Cause |
---|---|
No washing | Power off or fuse burned out. Power supply voltage too low. Required water level not reached due to low flow. Delay timer set and not expired. |
No water flow | Power off or fuse burned out. Water supply cut off or pressure too low. Inlet hose not properly connected or tap closed. Inlet filter blocked. Machine on pause. |
Abnormal draining | Water drain hose placed too high. Partial/full blockage in the outlet hose. |
Abnormal spin | Door lid not closed. Clothing not spread evenly in the drum. Machine not on an even surface. Motor belt loose. |
Error Codes
Error Code | Description | Solution |
---|---|---|
E1 | Alarm for abnormal water flow. | Check if the water tap is open. |
E2 | Water hasn't drained properly. | Check the water sensor and drain pump. |
E3 | Alarm for lid not closed before wash and spin. | Close the lid, press 'Start' button. |
E4 | Unbalanced drum. | Manually balance clothes in the drum by hand. |
Note: After checking possible causes, activate the appliance. If the problem persists or other error codes appear, contact the service centre.
