WOODSTOVE PG 1

*The parts for the wood stove come in 6 separate cardboard boxes, and there are both interior pieces and exterior pieces. Reference the parts list and the attached table to help identify and determine where to find each piece. Start by separating interior and exterior pieces.

Wood stove step 1 cut rear wall port hole

The first step is to cut a square port in the rear wall that the chimney will pass through.

To do so, you want to get the stove partially set up, and use it as a guide for where the square port hole should go.

1. Place the metal flooring piece (W) tight against the wall of the sauna (it does not need to be secured).

2. Place your wood burning stove (V) on top of the flooring).

3. Connect the four following interior pipe sections together in the following order (use self-tapping screws to fasten pieces together)

W.A. W.B. W.C. W.D.

4" diameter flue connection pipe (found inside the stove's firebox) 4" to 6" diameter pipe adapter 6" to 9" diameter pipe adapter 9" diameter insulated pipe (6" long)

4. Open the rear chimney connection port (remove the screws and bend the circular metal flap down to expose the hole).

5. Insert the pipe assembly into the stove's rear connection port. Ensure it is snug in place (but do not lock it into place as you will need to remove the pipe assembly in a later step).

6. Move/slide the stove so that the stove and the interior pipe assembly are tight against the rear wall. Make sure the W.C. pipe is centered on the rear wall (you can use the centre seam as a guide) and flush.
7. Trace the outside of the W.C. pipe onto the rear wall with a pencil. 8. Using the exterior pass-thru thimble (W.F) (with the cut edges facing away from the
wall), line up the thimble's circular hole with the traced circle on the rear wall. 9. Make sure the square thimble piece is centered and levelled, then mark the edges to
give you a guide for the square cut-out. (Remember, the hole should be just larger than the flanged-square of the exterior pass-thru piece.
10. Cut the square hole in the rear wall. Next, you will be installing the pass-thru thimble (W.F).

Wood stove step 2 - Install the pass-thru thimble (W.F). Install the exterior then interior plates. Use a level to ensure both plates are level
After installing the wall thimbles is good time to stop and vacuum wood chips / sawdust.

Wood stove step 3 add interior pipe assembly finishing cover, then put stove in place Now that the wall pass-thru port is ready, the stove and interior pipe assembly can be put in place. Take the pipe assembly OFF the stove, and slide the black finishing cover (W.E.) over the connected sections. The flue connection pipe (W.A) should stick out from the constricted side of the finishing cover. Re-connect the pipe assembly to the stove (with the finishing cover now included). Slot the whole assembly (with the finishing cover on top) back into the stove. SEE VIDEO: https://drive.google.com/file/d/142cZk44N99NhGLxuidpccJvZjqieRyfm/view?usp=drive_lin k
Next, move the stove back towards the wall until the insulated pipe section passes into the port. When the stove is in position, the black finishing cover will be snug against the stove on one end, and snug against the wall on the other end.

Wood stove step 4 assemble the exterior chimney On the exterior, start by connecting the T-junction piece to the insulated pipe piece through the rear wall port. Next, install the T-junction support piece. Make sure to install the support brace in such a way that the T-junction's bottom cap can be removed (for regular clearing of the chimney).
(make sure to install the support brace in a way that doesn't obstruct the bottom cap from being opened)

Finally, install the remaining chimney pieces in the order shown in the diagram below. Each piece should be attached to one another using self-tapping screws.
IMPORTANT: All chimney piece have direction arrows on them. These should be pointing in the direction the smoke is to go.
