It can control various Godox 2.4GHz wireless X system flashes, including camera flashes, outdoor flashes, studio flashes, and retro flashes. When paired with the Godox X1R-N receiver, the X3 N can also control Nikon original camera flashes.

The trigger features excellent anti-interference capabilities with 32 channels and 99 IDs, ensuring stable performance in complex shooting environments.

Mount the X3 N on your camera's hot shoe. Power on both the trigger and the flash. On the X3 N, go to 'Setting' > 'Wireless' to set the Channel (CH) and ID. Ensure the Lux Master's channel and ID match the X3 N. The 'Wireless Sync' function on the X3 N can quickly set matching channels and IDs. Trigger the flash by pressing the camera shutter.

As a Wireless Camera Flash Trigger (e.g., V1 Series)

Similar to retro flashes, mount the X3 N and power on the V1 flash. Set matching channels and IDs via the X3 N's 'Setting' > 'Wireless' menu and the V1's wireless setting button and MENU. Trigger via camera shutter.

As a Wireless Outdoor Flash Trigger (e.g., AD600Pro)

Mount the X3 N and power on the AD600Pro. Set matching channels and IDs via the X3 N's 'Setting' > 'Wireless' menu and the AD600Pro's wireless setting button and GR/CH button. Trigger via camera shutter.

Troubleshooting & Care

Reasons for Not Triggering

  • 2.4G Signal Interference: Adjust the channel (e.g., add 10+) or turn off other 2.4G devices.
  • Flash Recycling/Overheat Protection: Ensure the flash has recycled and is not in an overheat protection state. Downgrade power output or switch to M mode if in TTL.
  • Too Close Distance: If the trigger and flash are less than 0.5m apart, enable 'close distance wireless mode' and set triggering distance to 0-30m.
  • Low Battery: Charge or replace batteries in both the trigger and receiver.

Flash Trigger Care

  • Avoid sudden drops, impacts, or excessive stress.
  • Keep dry; the product is not waterproof.
  • Avoid sudden temperature changes to prevent condensation. Store in a handbag or plastic bag.
  • Keep away from strong magnetic fields from radio transmitters.

Firmware Upgrade

The Godox X3 N supports firmware upgrades via its USB-C port. Updates will be released on the official Godox website. The upgrade requires Godox G3 V1.1 software. Connect the X3 N to a computer via USB-C cable. In power-on status, select 'Firmware Upgrade' on screen. In power-off status, press and hold the adjust dial while connecting USB-C to enter upgrade mode.
